Celebrating One Hundred Years of Learning 1914-2014
Autumn Term
Newsletter 005
24th October 2014
Dear Parents,
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Milliken – they are now the
proud parents of a baby girl, Sophie Frances, born on
Wednesday evening and weighing in at 7lb 7oz! Mother and
baby are both doing well.
Thank-you to all the parents that read the disco flyer carefully
and were aware that tickets had to be bought in advance. I
know that a few people were disappointed, but to ensure
that supervision ratios are adhered to and that enough food
is provided tickets will always need to be bought in advance
in future.

granted in exceptional circumstances and a holiday is not
considered to be exceptional.
Parents may receive a penalty notice if their child is absent
from school without permission. If a person is issued with a
Penalty Notice they must pay a fine. This is set by regulation
at £60 per child, per parent, if paid within 21 days rising to
£120 if paid after 21 days, but within 28 days. If the recipient
