The respective Athletes who have distinguished themselves will be rewarded for their exceptional performance in the Sport of Karate in the Province of
Gauteng. Team Kata’s that featured in the top3 at Nationals 2014 – Bloem, from GKF, will also receive the award.

The criteria for the awards will be as follows:
Categories
GKF Athletes that placed in the top 4 at the KSA National Championships in Bloemfontein 2014
GKF’s No. 1 ranked Athletes in respective age categories not weight (must have > 140points)
Top 3 Referees and Top 3 Judges (Nominated by Chief Referee and approved by GKF Exco)
Top 3 Coaches (1 per region) (Nominated by Chief Coach and approved by GKF Exco)
Best Administrator and Team Managers Awards (GKF Exco Award)
GKF Executive Members and Regional Presidents Awards (GKF Exco Award)
Region with the most Gold Medals from the Provincial Champs at Wits – 2013 (GKF Exco Award)
Gauteng’s Male and Female player of the year (GKF Exco Award)
Please note that this is the pinnacle episode for the Gauteng Karate Federation for 2014 as we begin to prepare for the National Championship in Gauteng
2015. GKF strongly recommends that all persons that fall into the categories above attend, as it is not etiquette to receive awards in absentia.
Nomination lists will be issued shortly to all Regional Presidents. GKF strongly advises all persons to book your place early to avoid any disappointment as
the venue caters for 250 persons, same as last year! BOOK NOW! Closing date for all payment into the GKF bank account will be on the 23rd of November
2014.
Please write the name of athlete on the deposit slip as reference x persons accompanying, e.g. (J. King x 4), when making payment, in order for the
reception desk to tally up the register and to identify you at the entrance. Please present deposit slips if requested at the entrance. Registration will be
immediately upon payment into the bank account of GKF.
