Sunday, November 2, is the Feast of All Souls, a day on which we remember in a very special way all of our loved ones who have died. All masses on All Souls Day will be offered for our beloved dead. Masses will be Saturday at 5:30pm, and Sunday at 7:00, 9:00, and 11:30am, and the Spanish mass at 1:00pm. Intention envelopes may be placed in the containers in front of the Blessed Mother’s Altar or in the collection basket. For those who do not receive envelopes, you may pick one up at the doors of the Church. THE MONTHLY ROSARY CRUSADE The monthly Rosary Crusade to End Abortion will be held on Sunday, November 2nd from 4:00-5:00pm in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. You are invited to come to the holy hour that includes special Prayers for the Unborn, the Rosary of Our Lady and the Divine Mercy Chaplet and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. FIRST FRIDAY/FIRST SATURDAY Note: Monday though Friday, 12:10 mass is offered for an increase in vocations. An additional intention may be requested. PRAY FOR First Saturday devotion follows the 8:00am on November 1st. November 7, First Friday, masses will be at 7:30am and 12:10pm. There will be a Holy Hour at 8:00pm. Margaret Meier Confessions will be heard November 6th from 4:15-5:00pm. on Thursday, CHRISTMAS CHOIR “Choir rehearsals for the Christmas Midnight Mass begin Thursday, November 13th in the church choir loft starting at 7pm, and continue on Thursdays until Christmas (except Thanksgiving). These rehearsals are required in order to sing with the choir at this particular Mass. Everyone is welcome. Speak out to our Music Director Joseph Bertolozzi after Mass if you have any questions. PERPETUAL EUCHARISTIC ADORATION SUBSTITUTES NEEDED While we have many dedicated Guardians of the Eucharist there is always a need for substitutes in the event that someone becomes ill or goes on vacation. The greatest need is for coverage for the hours from midnight to 6AM, although there is still a need during the day and evening also. As a substitute you would be called occasionally, as the need arises. If you are interested in becoming a substitute please call the rectory at 343-6013 to leave your name and phone number and specify when you are available. We would be most grateful for your help. You may wish to be a Guardian of any hour of your choosing. RELIGIOUS EDUCATION NEWS A special thank you to all our families that attended and participated in the Living Rosary. As is our parish tradition, we will be assembling Thanksgiving baskets for those in need of assistance in our faith community.
