Communion….
Communion will be available every Sunday (if not offered during the
regular service) in the Prayer Chapel. You are welcome to take part in
this communion after the regular worship service. Gluten free bread is
available upon request.
All Saints Day
Do you have a loved one, family or friend, that passed
away this past year, between November 1, 2013 and November 1, 2014?
Would you find comfort in remembering this person in our Worship service on
Nov. 2rd? Please bring their full name and a picture to the
church office by October 27. We will share with you as
you remember during this service. Call the office at 5823632 for more information or you may e-mail the
picture/name, too. E-mail the office at
[email protected].
Anyone interested in joining the church or finding out more information about
the church is invited to PIZZA WITH THE
PASTOR on Sunday, November 9 following the
2nd worship service. Pastor Charlene will provide
information regarding the church and answer any
questions you may have. Pizza will be provided.

Old-Fashion Movie Afternoon
Meet at the church at noon, go to the kitchen window and order your lunch. We will be
cooking and serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and other sides, along with candy and
bubble gum! The popcorn machine will be producing hot, buttered popcorn and drinks
will be provided …. Remember a handful of peanuts in a bottle of Coca Cola??
(A suggested donation of $4.00 per person will be appreciated.)
We will end our meal with a short devotion, (and possible bubble-gum blowing contest)
before the movie “The Ron Clark Story” begins on the big screen. If you want a bit
more comfort, feel free to bring your own comfy lawn chair.
Our charity for November will be West Elementary so please bring children’s clothing
(socks, underwear, shirts, pants all small sizes) so the school will have them readily
available for any child who may need them. Don’t miss this time together and, as
always, bring other friends with you …. We welcome them to join us.
Also, please sign up on the bulletin tear-off so we will know how much food to prepare.
The United Methodist Women will host the annual fall bazaar
and bake sale on Friday, October 31 from 9:00-4:00 and
Saturday, November 1 from 9:00-2:00. A soup lunch will be
available on Friday at noon and the United Methodist Men will
provide a chili lunch on Saturday at noon. If you are bringing
items to sell, please bring them to the church on Thursday, Oct.
30. Be sure to pass the word to all your family, friends and
neighbors.

ATTENTION LADIES: NEEDED-Homemade baked & canned goods (candies,
jellies, cookies, cakes, pies, breads) Your donations to the Fall Bazaar ‘Granny’s
Cupboard’ will be appreciated. Bring donations to the church.
The 2014 Charge Conference will be held today, Sunday, October
26 at Lifesong United Methodist Church , 360 Emerson Rd, Reeds
Spring Mo beginning at 3:00 pm. This meeting is to set committee
members for 2015 and approve salaries. All church members are
welcome to attend.
TRUNK OR TREAT has been rescheduled to Halloween
night, Friday, October 31, from 6:00-8:00 on the church
parking lot. Candy, treats, and kids games will be available.
Please consider decorating a trunk or just come and help hand out
candy. The UMW Bazaar will also be open during this time if
you can’t make it during the day. Bring the kids, grandkids,
neighbor kids and stop by as you make your Halloween rounds.
Please indicate on the tear off if you plan to decorate a trunk.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 2 at 3:00 pm as
Cassidy holds a Service for the Blessing of Animals. You
are invited to bring your pets or special 4-legged friends to be
blessed. “Treats” will be provided for the animals and the
people.
