Students Department of Public Administration, Kurukshetra University, Ku rukshetra ffitutrd$d &d*&,{rx{f,Nffi*l Program Overview The Department of Public Administration is organising the teq (10) days research methodology training programme for Ph.D. Students of different disciplines in Social Sciences. The programme is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MoHRD), New Delhi. The ICSSR has given priority to the SC/ST Students enrolled for their Ph.D. in Social Sciences disciplines Sociology, Psychology, Political Science, History, Public Administration, Law, Mass Communication, Economics and Geography etc. from the Haryana State's Universities and the neighbouring States' Universities and Institutions. Any category Research scholar can .apply, however preference will be given to SC/ST Research Scholar. The program is scheduled to be held in the month of December 2014. The outstanding and distinguished experts in research methodology will deliver the lectures and tutorials in the different sessions of the training programme. The sessions of the programme are effectively and efficiently designed according to the needs of the students live-interactive sessions, computer laboratory sessions, seminar library sessions and field visit sessions in order to apply research methodology to workout the real-world problems solutions. In this context, the research methodology training programme will be useful for the Ph.D. Students in their higher education research work. - - Eligibility The M.Phil / Ph.D. Students of Social Sciences disciplines enrolled in the university's departments are eligible for the ICSSR Training Program. The applicant reqtrires to applying in the given Application Form along with complete curriculum- vitae and documents through proper channel from their Ph.D. research Supervisor and Head of the department. The completed application form must be submitted to the undersigned office or e-mail to [email protected] on or before the last date of application submission. The last date for submission of application is November 20,2014. For the programme regular updates visit to the Kurukshetra University's website kuk.ac.in. All the selected participants will be paid TA & DA as per ICSSR norms.
