Dear newspaper carrier
Posti wants to remove our night shift allowance of 30 per cent and replace it with a night
bonus of 0,65 euros per hour. By doing this Posti aims at a significant reduction on newspaper carriers’ salaries.
Depending on delivery route reduction is 15 – 25 per cent!!!! We newspaper carriers of PAU
won’t accept this!!! Employer also wants to remove all optimization guarantees from those
who have them. This adds remarkably to reduction on reduced salaries above.
Posti wants to remove shared employees’ additional work compensation of 20 per cent on hourly
pay. In addition Posti aims at many other fallings-off. Please read the web site of PAU:

Newspaper carriers’ strike in Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa,
Kauniainen and Uusimaa
Due to Posti reduction aims we are on strike during: 20.11., 21.11., 23.11., 24.11. and
25.11. Therefore we won’t carry any newspapers during those days.
Strike subsidy of 50 euros of PAU paid on application for each day of the strike to all members. If not a member, join at once. www.pau.fi, www.pksjakajat.pau.fi,

If employer's people are trying to put pressure on you to come to work during the strike,
immediately contact your shop steward.
