Appointment of MG NREGA Co-ordinator at the District @ 1 per district (additional 1 position for Ganjam, Mayurbhanj and Sundergarh) taking District as a unit. Additional Program Officer, MG NREGA in the Blocks taking Block as a unit. Both posts are on Contractual basis. Suggestive format for advertisement has been enclosed in the aforesaid letter. The candidate will submit The printed copy of the filled in application form Color passport size (3.5cmX2.5cm) photograph, Attested photocopies of relevant certificates and mark-sheets as per the checklist. Signature at the appropriate space in the Application form. shall be submitted by the applicant to the Project Director, DRDA of the concerned district only by registered/ speed post within the timeline as per the advertisement. Application forms not received through both the channels, i.e. online as well as registered/ speed post, shall not be considered. Any mismatch found between the uploaded data in the online form and the hard copy of application form and enclosed relevant documents submitted to the concerned Project Director, DRDA by the applicant, the application will be summarily rejected. Candidates crossing the maximum age limit as on 1st January 2011 specified in the advertisement shall be disqualified. Applicants not possessing the requisite essential qualification laid down in the advertisement will be ineligible. Online applications submitted by post without filling up the relevant information shall be rejected. Applications received not attached with all relevant documents will be rejected. Applications received after due date shall not be considered. The list of shortlisted candidates after the preliminary scrutiny will be web hosted district-wise/ block-wise by each district by logging on to the web application for inviting objections. The list of applications rejected along-with reasons of rejection will also be web hosted for maintaining transparency. The candidates shall be duly intimated about the last date of filing of objections. All the objections from the candidates shall be received electronically. Objections so received will be scrutinized and the valid objections will be incorporated in the database within the time period and a list of eligible candidates will be prepared. In order to prepare the block-wise provisional merit list for APO (MGNREGA) and district-wise provisional merit list for MGNREGA Coordinator, the following weightage shall be assigned against mark scored by candidates in respective examination. Weightage : HSC : 30%, Graduation : 30%, Essential Qualification : 40%, The list of provisionally shortlisted candidates post wise (Maximum-5 per post) shall be published by the DRDA/ Block concerned in the website. One scrutiny committee shall be constituted at the District level under the chairmanship of the Collector & CEO, DRDA comprising Project Director, DRDA, Additional Project Director (Administration) and any other officer as decided by the Collector. All BDOs are also members of the scrutiny committee for APO(MGNREGA). The scrutiny Committee will be responsible for scrutiny of application forms, disposal of all objections, scrutiny of all the related documents like certificates and marksheets for verifying the factual position of the information provided in the application form of the provisionally shortlisted candidates as well as for reviewing all the steps involved in the recruitment process. A shortlist of candidates of 5 for each post (MGNREGA Coordinator – District-wise, APO(MGNREGA) – Blockwise) will be generated from the provisional merit list. The shortlisted candidates shall be called for verification of original documents by the concerned DRDA in one date (i.e. 28th March 2011) throughout the State. The candidates shall be intimated by registered post as well as by email, if any. In case of any misrepresentation/ suppression of facts, non production of original documents for verification or resorting to any other kind of manipulations, the scrutiny committee shall reject the candidature of the applicant. Based on the final merit list arrived at after proper scrutiny appointment order will be issued on the same day to the candidate having highest weightage if he/she fulfills all other eligibility criteria. DRDA will issue appointment for the post of MGNREGA Coordinator Block will issue appointment letter for the post of APO(MGNREGA) If the candidate having highest weightage fails to fulfill all the eligibility criteria or if she/ he fails to turn up for verification of documents, the candidate having next highest weightage shall be considered for engagement. Wait list of selected candidates may be maintained by the DRDA District wise for MGNREGA Coordinator and Block-wise for APO(MGNREGA) which shall normally be valid for one year. In case the selected candidate does not join or breaks the contract, then the DRDA/Block can use this merit list for engagement of the next candidate in the order of merit only from the merit list. Under no circumstance the DRDA/ Block should violate the merit list of the shortlisted candidates while issuing engagement letter. The appointment letter will be generated from the computer.
