We invite members, friends and their children and grandchildren to celebrate Christmas at the club. Enjoy singing traditional Danish Christmas songs with ‘KUPALEJA’ and dancing around the Christmas tree while we wait for Santa Oz and his helpers to arrive. There’ll be gløgg and æbleskiver and hot dogs on the menu and maybe a few other goodies. Come decked out in your Christmas gear and be prepared for a lot of dancing and singing around the Christmas tree. Make sure you bring along a gift for your child/children, wrapped and clearly labelled and hand it in at the door. Santa will hand out the gifts when he arrives. We want to make sure there’s room for everyone, please book by Wednesday 9 December 2015. Venlig hilsen Merete, Magnus, Pat og Pia CHRISTMAS MARKET AT THE DANISH CLUB SUNDAY 22 NOVEMBER 2015 FROM 11 AM – 3 PM Swedish Goodies, Qti Pi, Fudge made by Imogen, Bud to Rose Jewellery, Hanne’s Christmas Stall, BornHandmade, Woodwork by Brian Colourful! There’ll be glögg (mulled wine) and Danish æbleskiver, Swedish lussekatter (saffron buns), coffee and tea and cold drinks Gift ideas Traditional Cute Juledekorationer Juledekorationer går helt tilbage til de gamle julemarkeder, der fandt sted i Tyskland i 1600-tallet. I Danmark bruges ofte flettede julehjerter. Do you need Danish beer, snaps, chocolate or licorice?
