You can use these new entries to improve your mobile security and protect your systems from mobile applications that exhibit malicious or unwanted behavior. ThreatDV has also added two new reputation tag criteria in the reputation feed: Mobile – An IP Address/DNS Name known to host malicious/suspicious mobile applications or participate in CnC-related communication with infected mobile devices. Tor Exit – An IP Address/DNS Name known to be a node in an anonymous network, a gateway where encrypted Tor traffic communicates with the Internet. This tag consists of both published and unpublished Tor nodes. These tags are populated with the appropriate entries in order to give you more flexibility when building your reputation profile. Additional Information Adding the new “Mobile Threat” entries increases the size of your reputation database. Review the following information to ensure the best functionality for your deployment: SMS not processing Reputation Feed (RepFeed/RepDV) delete commands HP TippingPoint S10, S110, S330 Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) devices and memory limitation.
