Wecome to Gudenå!
All motor-driven vessels to be used in the Gudenå must
be registered prior to launch. This applies to both resident
vessels and guests who wish to launch their vessels in the
river for shorter time.
Registration must be done on www.sejladspaagudenaaen.
dk - the Gudenå system’s boat register.
Registering a resident vessel costs a yearly fee of 200
DKK, while guest vessels are registered with a guest number (30 DKK, valid for 14 days). Guests in the Gudenå system are those that do not live, or have a permanent berth
for their vessel, in one of the seven Gudenå municipalities.
Your allocated registration number must be placed on both
sides of the bow of your vessel.

The Gudenå Committee is a cooperation
between the seven municipalities along
the river: Randers, Viborg, Favrskov,
Silkeborg, Skanderborg, Horsens, and
Hedensted.

The municipalities and the police carry out regular inspections of registrations. Vessels without registration
numbers, or who have not paid their yearly fee, will incur a
fine of 1000 DKK.
