Let’s go for an adventure to Rabbit Springs to find the unique thunder egg with black obsidian. Digging areas
are within 10 minutes of parking. $8.00/person or $3/person if you drive yourself. Resister by November 13.

Wobble Walk Shooting Competition – (Thursday, 20 November — 11 a.m.)

The competition consists of 5 shots on a wobble trap range from five random locations to be determined at the
start of the event. We will provide the ammo and gun to equalize the playing field as well as having beginner
and advanced skill divisions. The highest score from each division will win a holiday turkey!!! $2 per entry
and open to beginner and advance shooters. Enter as many times as time allows.

Join the Outdoor Recreation crew in the beautiful outdoors for some fresh air and hiking/snowshoeing.
Depending on weather conditions will determine hiking or snowshoe trail. $15 snowshoe trail and $10

Wondering what to do as winter approaches? Come find out at Winter Ski Show! We will have
representatives from the local ski resorts as well as Outdoor Recreation staff available to teach you the ins and
outs of winter fun. You will get the chance to learn about daily and season ticket passes, lessons, Outdoor
Recreation winter equipment rentals and trips as well as all the other offerings local resorts may have.
Sponsors may have special promotions and giveaways so make sure you stop by. In addition, Outdoor
Recreation will be drawing for door prizes throughout the day for free lift tickets! Free admission for
everyone, stop on by!

Develop delicious cooking techniques with this unique outdoor cooking equipment. Use OAP recipes while
hunting or for future backyard cooking. Class includes equipment usage, fresh ingredients, recipes, and stepby-step instructions. Cost is only $12 per person. Register by 17 Nov.
Yellowstone Snowmobile Registration – (Thursday, 13 November — 8:30 a.m.)
See Yellowstone National Park in its entire winter splendor… swans, geese and
ducks are all attracted to the
temperate rivers and streams.
Grazing buffalo, elk, and moose can
all be seen through the hissing
steam of the geysers. We will stay
in West Yellowstone, known as the
snowmobile capital of the world.
This picturesque village has an
abundance of gift shops and
galleries to accommodate even the
most discriminating buyer. No prior
experience is required for these
trips. Your trip fee includes transportation to and from West
Yellowstone, two nights lodging at the Holiday Inn, one full
day of snowmobiling in the park, clothing rental, all guide and entry fees, and insurance for the snowmobiles.
Participants must be six years or older. Prices vary depending upon the number of people you have in your
room and whether you ride single or double. Individuals may only sign up their family and guests (No more
than one room). A $50 per person non-refundable deposit is required. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. on 13
November. Spots fill up fast.

BGCA Fine Arts Contest - (3 November thru 12 December)

We will accept art work in the following categories as part of the BGCA & Youth Programs annual fine art
contest: monochromatic drawing, multicolored drawing, pastel, water color, oil or acrylic, printmaking,
mixed media, collage, sculpture, and group project. The categories are separated by age groups. Youth may
submit more than 1 item, however ONLY 1 entry is allowed per category. Judging will be held on 17
December 2014. Please contact the Youth Center for more information.

categories: Digital Art, Photography, and Crafts. Within each category is three age groups: Adult, Teen (1317) and Youth (6-12). There is a maximum of 3 entries per person per category. Entries must be turned in to
