PRODUCT INFORMATION SHEET Base Catalog No.: T-5055 TNP-BSA-Biotin Biotin OSu is conjugated to 2,4,6-Trinitrophenyl-Bovine Serum Albumin. This product is homologous to TNP-BSA. Properties Chemical Name: 2,4,6-Trinitrophenyl-Bovine Serum Albumin-Biotin Appearance: yellow to orange powder Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max): 348 nm Extinction Coefficient at Lambda max: 15400/M/cm Product Usage Conjugation is determined at pH 7.0 by measuring TNP absorbance at 348 nm using 1.54 x 10E+04 as the extinction coefficient of TNP and is given as a molar ratio of TNP to BSA assuming the molecular weight of BSA is 60,000. The spectral properties listed for this product are the properties of the hapten and not of the hapten-carrier conjugate. The biotin moiety is not quantified. Store solution in aliquots at -20°C. Protect from light. This product can be dissolved in water or phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.2 at a concentration of 1 mg/mL. When using PBS please refer to the formulation below.
