Magical Season of Giving’s SHOP FOR A MAGICAL CAUSE
The Outlet Collection |Jersey Gardens will host Magical Season of Giving’s Shop for a Magical Cause
as a non-profit fundraising event.
This receipt-based fundraising event will take place November 1 – December 7, 2014
How it works: Customers bring their The Outlet Collection | Jersey Gardens store receipts dated Nov
1 – Dec 7, 2014 to the Concierge Desk by Dec 7, 2014. The customers will designate which
participating nonprofit or public school to “donate” their dollars to from a list of participating groups.
Make sure your organization is part of this list!
Every dollar spent = One point towards your organization’s total points!
At the end of the program, all points will be totaled, and the top 10 groups will receive a donation
from The Outlet Collection | Jersey Gardens!

Top 10 non-profit groups will each receive a $500 Amex Reward Card donation

Weekly Magical Season of Giving prize drawing for customers. Receipt presenting customers
will receive one entry form for each store receipt they present. Entry forms will be entered into
a weekly random prize drawing. Each Monday, winners will be drawn. These winners win a
prize donated by our stores and sponsors.
It’s Simple. It’s Free! All you have to do is fill out the attached registration form and provide it, along
with your 501(c)3 designation letter or public school’s tax exempt organization letter, to the mall
office prior to October 24, 2014*. Both items must be presented each year for your group to qualify.
*A Minimum of 25 organizations must be registered by October 24, 2014 for the program to
commence.

2014 Official Rules & Regulations
This year’s program begins on November 1, 2014 and ends on December 7, 2014. Customers must present
receipts to the Mall Concierge Desk from any store or restaurant at The Outlet Collection | Jersey Gardens.
Qualifying receipts MUST BE FROM a retailer at The Outlet Collection | Jersey Gardens on purchases made
during the program period ONLY, and must be turned in by December 7, 2014 by 7pm.
All registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and public schools are permitted to participate. Registration
forms, nonprofit eligibility proof, and 501(c)3 letters must be received in the Mall Office by October 24, 2014.
Registration forms received after that date will be disqualified. *A Minimum of 25 organizations must be
registered by October 24, 2014 for the program to commence.
Receipts may only be used one time and will be marked when presented to the Concierge Desk. The receipt
must be the original. Originals will be returned to customers with the marked stamp. Duplicate receipts, photo
copies, faxes and internet orders will not be accepted. Purchases of bus passes, faxes and photo copies
cannot be redeemed for points. Store Credit Card payments and Cell Phone Payments, even if made to a
store at the mall, will not be accepted for points.
Store employees may not request, or copy, receipts from store customers in order to redeem them for points.
Additionally, stores (or store employees) may not hold receipts to give to nonprofit groups to redeem for points.
Solicitation of stores by nonprofit groups to hold receipts for such groups is prohibited and may deem the group
disqualified.
Each receipt value presented equals one point per one dollar spent. The customer will designate a nonprofit
group from the list of qualified nonprofit groups.
Customers presenting receipts will be given one entry form per store receipt presented. Same-day receipts
received from one store will count as one receipt, and the customer will be granted one entry form. For
example, 3 separate transactions from Store XYZ on November 2, 2014 will count as 1 receipt since all 3
transactions were made on the same day, and the customer will be given one entry form into the weekly
drawing.
Each week, one entry form will be selected at random to win a prize donated by a store or sponsor. Prize
descriptions will be listed on www.jerseygardens.com starting November 1, 2014.
Each Monday of the contest, the weekly customer prize winners will be drawn and the nonprofit organization
point rankings will be updated. Winning customers of the weekly contest will be posted on
www.facebook.com/jerseygardens and/or www.jerseygardens.com. Winning customers will be notified via
phone, email and/or US Mail by December 15, 2014. All winners are responsible for paying any taxes
associated with prize winnings.
Winning organizations will be posted on www.jerseygardens.com and/or www.facebook.com/jerseygardens or
www.youtube.com/jerseygardmall. Winning organizations will be notified via phone, email and/or US Mail by
December 15, 2014. Prize gift card donations will be presented to the winning organizations in lump sums as an
Amex Rewards Gift Card. Gift Cards may be picked up in the Mall Office at any time after winners have been
notified. All prizes must be claimed by January 31, 2015.
Top 10 non-profit groups will receive a portion of the Magical Cause American Express rewards gift card
donation according to the following schedule: $500 each. Winners are responsible for paying any taxes
associated with prize donation winnings.
The Outlet Collection | Jersey Gardens Management Office will make the final decision regarding any dispute.
Mall Management reserves the right to refuse suspicious or fraudulent receipts, or any receipt transactions
breaking the above rules. Mall Management reserves the right to modify these rules at any time without
notice.
