From Our Pastor’s Heart
We are thrilled and thankful as we gather in worship today at Faith.
My favorite day of the week is Sunday – the Lord’s Day. I love singing,

for a great time of worship led by our Celebration Choir and Orchestra testimonies
and reports from our Guatemala missionaries, and a message from Bro. Danny.

meeting today – we are looking forward to great things!
TODAY! At 4:45....Sunday Seminars!
is filled with joyful expectancy each week, especially as we come to the time
Today we join churches across the nation and around the world
recognizing today as “Orphan Sunday.” As we interview special guests,
speak to the subject, and consider our opportunities, I believe Faith will rise
to a new level in our investment and involvement in this significant ministry.
We are very thankful to have Pastor Mark Ottinger from Fellowship
Memphis sharing his passion and burden for orphans and adoptive parents.
“Parenting By Grace” - Navigate the joys and challenges of raising
children to love God, love their families, and find their mission - Led by
Dr. Danny and Rhonda Sinquefield - Room 203.
“Help! I’m Southern Baptist” - Discover the heritage of the past and the
hope for the future for those of us who are called “Southern Baptists.”
Led by Dr. Mike Day - Room 212.
Missions
The challenge is daunting. No single person can do everything, but
every Christian must do something. That is our hope and prayer today – that
every member of Faith will say “Yes” to some level of commitment. Let me
add a special word of thanks to our 1<Orphan Ministry Team and an army of
volunteers who made our 5K run/walk such a great event yesterday!
Faith Baptist Missions Craft Fair - Saturday, November 8, 9 AM - 3 PM, in the GYM
Please join us for our annual Missions Craft Fair. This is always a fun time for holiday
shopping and a great way to support our Faith On Mission offering! We still have
vendor spots available, so sign up today. To sign up for a booth, or for more information,
contact Trisha Pannell at [email protected].
I hope you will join us for worship again this evening at 6:00 PM. We
will enjoy testimony from missionary partners and celebrate together with
a mission report from one of our Faith members. I will also be sharing a
message related to developing a culture of prayer in the life of our church
family. These are very exciting days – I am grateful for the privilege of
serving as your pastor!
Operation Christmas Child - Fill a shoebox and bring it to the tables in the hallway
outside the Grand Lobby. All shoeboxes are due back to the church no later than
November 16th.
