StarChild Academy will celebrate Fall
on Friday, October 31. We will have
our Fall costume parade at 10:00am
followed directly by parties in the
classrooms. There will be a sign up
sheet in the classrooms starting
Monday, October 5th. Please do not
bring goody bags to the class. Due
to food allergies and parental preference we request that you bring only
the food items that you sign up for
from the list. NO PEANUTS, NUT
PRODUCTS or PEANUT BUTTER
PLEASE. Any candy will be sent
home and it is the discretion of the
parent to give it to the child.

The three in a row books for October
will be: Clifford by Norman Bridwell,
The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe
Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear
by Don and Audrey Wood, If You
Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura
Joffe Numeroff, and The Day the
Goose Got Loose by Reeve Lindbergh.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
Seminole County Schools will be
closed on Friday, October 10th.
StarChild Academy will be providing
full day care including a fun-filled field
trip for Seminole County school-age
children on this day off. The children
will be going to the Science Center
followed by a trip to the park. Don’t
Forget your yellow StarChild shirt and
a bag lunch.
*You MUST sign up at the front
desk by Wednesay, October 8th to
participate. If you sign up and fail
to cancel by Friday, October 8th
your account will be charged for
the field trip as we must plan staffing and provide a guarantee number of students to the facility.
Students may arrive at StarChild
Academy in their costumes. We will
have a short costume parade at
10:00am. Students will then be
changed out of their costumes.
IMPORTANT: It is extremely important that you label all items of your
child’s costume with their name and
send a bag (labeled) with a change of
clothes. Please do not send children
to school with guns/swords, or in valuable costumes. StarChild Academy
does not assume any responsibility
for lost or damaged costumes.
SCHOOL PICTURES!
K-4 GRADUATION
We will be having school
pictures the week of October
27th - 30th. When it gets closer
we will let you know your
child’s exact picture date!

Class of 2014 K-4 classes will be:
Friday, June 5th
