Classroom Holiday Party
Orange County elementary and StarChild
Academy private elementary schools will
be closed on Monday, December 22,
through Monday, January 2, for Winter
Break. StarChild Academy will be providing full-day care, including fun-filled field
trips, on these days off. Field trips will be
posted at: www.StarChildAcademy.com
Classroom holiday parties will be on December 19, 2014! Please
sign up for your child(ren)’s holiday party. Teachers will be posting a
signup list for special goodies that the children will have during their
afternoon party. All parents are welcome to attend our classroom
holiday parties!
Ronald McDonald House Wish List
PRIVATE ELEMENTARY
ADMISSION PROCESS
StarChild Academy will begin the admission process for upper grade levels in
January 2015.
These programs are open to students who
have successfully completed Private PreKindergarten and Elementary Grade Levels at StarChild Academy.
This year, StarChild Acadmey will be collecting donations to help
grant wishes for the families that stay at the Ronald McDonald
house in Orlando. Please bring donations by December 12, 2014.
Please check classroom door for a list of items that you can donate.
HOLIDAY CALENDAR
All of us at StarChild Academy would like to wish you and your
family a very happy holiday season. StarChild Academy will be
closed on the following days to celebrate:

PARENT’S NIGHT OUT

This month’s Parent’s Night Out program
will be on Friday, December 5, 2013!
Wednesday, December 31 ………………………………6 AM - 4 PM

We will have pizza and movies for the children. The price is $20 per child. Parent’s
night out is held normally on the first Friday
of every month except on holiday weekends when it is held on the following Friday. Space is limited and reservations are
required. If you sign up and can not attend
please notify the front desk by noon on Friday to avoid having your account charged.
NO SMOKING POLICY
Florida Statutes prohibit smoking on the
premises of child care facilities.
DECEMBER CURRICULUM
During the month of December, our Infant classes themes will
be “Letters”, “Kk-Mm”, “Holidays Around the World”. Our
Toddler and Preschool classrooms will enjoy exploring The
Rainforest. They will focus on letters Gg-Jj and numbers 1-15.
Our Advanced Preschool will explore their unit on “Community
Helpers” and our Pre-K classes will talking about “Wind”. We
will spend the last week of December reviewing concepts
covered since the beginning of the school year.
