Baltimore PRVC 2014 Fourth Annual Potomac Regional

Fourth Annual
Potomac Regional
Veterinary Conference
November 7 - 9 , 2014
Baltimore
PRVC
2014
Welcome
From the Conference Committee Chair and Dean Cyril Clarke
Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to invite you to attend the fourth annual Potomac Regional Veterinary Conference (PRVC) at the
Hyatt Regency in the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Maryland on November 7-9, 2014. The PRVC will once again be
a joint effort involving the Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, and District of Columbia Veterinary Medical Associations, in collaboration with the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and its Alumni Society.
The bonds that have developed over the last four years have strengthened as the conference has matured.
The individual state VMAs are now actively engaged with one another and share ideas and resources in order
to progress their respective associations and the profession. Dean Cyril Clarke is very supportive of further
developing former Dean Schurig’s legacy of a regional veterinary conference. Va-Md College of Vet Med has played
a central role in the meeting’s success and benefits greatly from its partnership with the regional VMAs.
The 2014 PRVC will offer up to 18 hours of continuing education with continued separate tracks in small animal,
equine, and public/corporate veterinary medicine. We also will have two new tracks this year: a technician
track for 7 hours and a practice management track for 7 hours. We have assembled a renowned group of
talented speakers from around the country and the Va-Md College of Veterinary Medicine that will deliver an
engaging program.
We also want to extend a very special thanks from the PRVC planning committee to the corporate sponsors
that make this conference possible. The success of the conference is tied directly to its corporate sponsors and
vendors. Please join us in thanking these sponsors.
We look forward to the camaraderie and learning that the Potomac Regional Veterinary Conference offers.
We will see you in Baltimore!
Sincerely,
Kris Evans, DVM, CCRT, Diplomate ACVS
