REGISTERABLE POINTING BREEDS
The CONESTOGA VIZSLA CLUB will run a Hunt Test on the same dates at
the same location. Run four legs in one weekend in one location. See separate
premium for details and forms.
Entries limited to the number of dogs that can be run during available daylight hours.
Entries will close when the limit is reached if this occurs prior to the specified
closing time. The Club reserves the right to cancel or postpone this Hunting Test for
extreme weather conditions. Any refund will be at the discretion of the club. The
club will run under flexible format.
This Hunting Test is held under the rules and procedures of the
American Kennel Club
BITCHES IN SEASON MAY NOT COMPETE IN ANY TEST
This club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC entry
form for this event

COURSES
All tests will be single course with a birdfield.
Shooting done by official gunners, only.
Junior test will be blank pistol, only.
NO horseback handling will be permitted without a copy of an
AKC accommodation letter.
BIRDS
Quail will be released in all test levels.
PRIZES
Standard AKC rosette to each dog receiving a qualifying score.

CAMPING: Camping is permitted on the grounds. NO ELECTRICAL
HOOKUPS WILL BE AVAILABLE OR ALLOWED.
HORSES: Will not be available
FOOD: Food will be available on the grounds for Saturday and Sunday.
Access Permit - Visitors to Wildlife Management Areas (WMAs) and public fishing
lakes owned by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries who are age
17 and older need to have an Access Permit, unless they possess a valid Virginia
hunting, freshwater fishing, or trapping license, or a current Virginia boat
registration. Daily and Annual Access Permits for WMAs and department-owned
public fishing lakes are available for purchase online at
http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/access-permit/, by calling 1-866-721-6911 during
business hours, or at any license agent.
Cost for the Daily Access Permit is $4 and the cost for the Annual Access Permit is
$23. The Access Permit, whether Daily or Annual, can be used to access any WMA
and DGIF-owned public fishing lakes statewide.
NOTE: For those not covered by one of the Access Permit methods above, the Club
is obtaining a group permit for the weekend.

DIRECTIONS FROM FREDERICKSBURG:
From Interstate I-95, take exit 133 B and go north on Rt 17. Just north of
Goldvein there is a sign for Phelps WMA and Sumerduck. Make a left onto
Sumerduck Rd. (Rt 651) and go about 7.5 miles. The grounds are on the left.
DIRECTIONS FROM WARRENTON:
Go South on Rt. 29/ Rt. 15 to Remington. Then follow directions below.
DIRECTIONS FROM CHARLOTTESILLE:
Go North on Rt. 29 past Culpeper (approx.. 11 miles) to Remington. Then
follow directions below.
AT REMINGTON (Traffic light)
Turn East on Freemans Ford Rd (Rt 651) and go into town (this is Main Street).
Continue to follow Rt. 651 it to the grounds on right,.about 5.6 miles.

sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to
have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their
members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the
premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the
aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or
injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog
while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all
responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless
from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned
parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any
of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom,
sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in
consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and
whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the
aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons I (WE) AGREE THAT ANY CAUSE OF
ACTION, CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE ENTRY, EXHIBITION OR
ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENT BETWEEN THE AKC AND MYSELF (OURSELVES) OR AS TO THE
CONSTRUCTION, INTERPRETATION AND EFFECT OF THIS AGREEMENT SHALL BE SETTLED BY
ARBITRATION PURSUANT TO THE APPLICABLE RULES OF THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION
