‫כל שקית מכילה את החומרים הפעילים הבאים‪:‬‬

‫התרופה מיועדת למבוגרים מעל גיל ‪ 18‬שנים‪.‬‬
‫התרופה מיועדת לריקון מעי לצרכים אבחנתיים בלבד (לפני תהליך של צילום‬
‫רנטגן‪ ,‬ניתוח או אנדוסקופיה)‪ .‬הצלחת הבדיקה תלויה בניקיון המעי‪ ,‬לכן חשוב‬
‫להקפיד על הוראות הרופא‪.‬‬
‫יש לצפות לפעולות מעיים תכופות ונוזליות‪ ,‬נא לוודא גישה לשירותים לאחר‬
‫נטילת ציטראפליט‪.‬‬
‫על מנת להחזיר לגוף את הנוזלים שאבדו חשוב לשתות הרבה נוזלים צלולים‬
‫(כגון‪ :‬מים‪ ,‬מרק צח‪ ,‬תה‪ ,‬קפה או מיצים מדוללים) לאורך הטיפול בתרופה‪.‬‬
‫יש לשתות כוס מלאה (כ‪ 250 -‬מ"ל) של מים או נוזל צלול אחר כל שעה‪,‬‬
‫עד שפעילות המעיים נפסקת‪.‬‬
‫במקרה של בעיות לבביות או כלייתיות אין להשתמש בתכשיר ללא התייעצות‬
‫עם הרופא‪.‬‬
‫לאחר שימוש בתרופה יתכנו תופעות לוואי‪ ,‬יחד עם זאת תופעה של כאבי‬
‫בטן חריפים וממושכים או תגובות אלרגיות חמורות שעלולות להוביל לקושי‬
‫בנשימה מחייבות הפסקת טיפול ופניה מיידית לרופא!‬
‫בקשישים יש להיות ערניים יותר לנושא של תופעות לוואי עקב סיכון מוגבר‬
‫להפרת מאזן המלחים בגוף‪.‬‬
‫‪ )1‬למה מיועדת התרופה?‬
‫התרופה מיועדת לריקון‪/‬ניקוי המעי לפני תהליך אבחנתי כגון צילום רנטגן‪,‬‬
‫ניתוח או אנדוסקופיה (הליך של צפייה בחלל המעי באמצעות החדרת מכשיר‬
‫דרך פי הטבעת)‪.‬‬
‫ריקון המעי מתאפשר הודות לשני חומרים משלשלים הנמצאים כתערובת‬
‫בכל שקית‪.‬‬
‫קבוצה תרפויטית‪ :‬משלשל‪.‬‬
‫‪ )2‬לפני שימוש בתרופה‬
‫ אין להשתמש בתרופה‪:‬‬
‫• אם ידועה רגישות למרכיבי התרופה‪.‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל מאי ספיקת לב‪.‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל מיכולת התרוקנות לקויה של הקיבה (‪.)gastric retention‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל מכיבים במערכת העיכול (בקיבה או במעי)‪.‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל מחסימה או מכשל בתנועתיות המעי (‪.)ileus‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל מנזק בדופן המעי הגס (‪.)toxic colitis‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל מהרחבה של המעי הגס (‪.)toxic megacolon‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל מבחילות ו‪/‬או הקאות‪.‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל מהתייבשות חמורה‪.‬‬
‫• אם אתה סובל ממיימת ‪ -‬מצב בו נוזלים נאגרים בחלל הבטן (‪.)ascites‬‬
‫אזהרות מיוחדות הנוגעות לשימוש בתרופה‬
‫ לפני הטיפול בציטראפליט‪ ,‬ספר לרופא‪:‬‬
‫ אם הינך בהריון‪ ,‬מתכננת הריון או מניקה‪.‬‬‫ אם אתה סובל או סבלת בעבר מליקוי בתפקוד הלב או הכליה‪.‬‬‫ אם אתה סובל מלחץ דם נמוך‪.‬‬‫ אם אתה חולה בסוכרת‪.‬‬‫ אם עברת לאחרונה ניתוח במעי‪.‬‬‫ אם אתה סובל או סבלת בעבר מחוסר איזון ברמות המים ו‪/‬או המלחים (נתרן‬‫או אשלגן מצב הידוע גם כהיפונתרמיה או היפוקלמיה) עקב מצב מחלתי‬
‫ו‪/‬או נטילת תרופות הגורמות לכך (כגון‪ :‬משתנים‪ ,‬סטרואידים‪ ,‬ליתיום וכו')‪.‬‬
‫ אם אתה חולה באפילפסיה או סבלת בעבר מפרכוסים‪.‬‬‫ אם אתה קשיש או תשוש פיזית‪.‬‬‫ אם אתה צמא או חושב שיתכן ואתה קצת מיובש‪.‬‬‫אין להשתמש בציטראפליט כמשלשל שגרתי‪.‬‬
‫בקשישים יש להיות ערניים יותר לנושא של תופעות לוואי עקב סיכון מוגבר‬
‫להפרת מאזן המלחים בגוף‪.‬‬
‫ אם אתה לוקח‪ ,‬או אם לקחת לאחרונה‪ ,‬תרופות אחרות כולל תרופות‬
‫ללא מרשם ותוספי תזונה‪ ,‬ספר על כך לרופא או לרוקח‪ .‬במיוחד יש ליידע את‬
‫הרופא או הרוקח אם אתה לוקח את התרופות הבאות‪:‬‬
‫• מסדירי פעילות מעיים אחרים (כגון‪ :‬סובין)‪.‬‬
‫• גלולות למניעת הריון‪ ,‬תרופות לטיפול בסוכרת‪ ,‬אנטיביוטיקה‪ ,‬תרופות אנטי‬
‫אפילפטיות (כגון‪ :‬קרבמזפין) ‪ -‬פעילותן עשויה להפגע‪ ,‬לכן יש ליטול לפחות‬
‫שעתיים לפני‪/‬לא פחות משש שעות אחרי נטילת ציטראפליט‪.‬‬
‫• משתנים (כגון‪ :‬פורוסמיד)‪ ,‬סטרואידים (כגון‪ :‬פרדניזון)‪ ,‬ליתיום‪ ,‬דיגוקסין‪ ,‬תרופות‬
‫לטיפול בדיכאון ‪ -‬עקב השפעה על מאזן המים ו‪/‬או האלקטרוליטים בגוף‪.‬‬
‫• תרופות ממשפחת ‪( NSAIDs‬נוגדי דלקת שאינם סטרואידים) כגון אספירין‬
‫ואיבופרופן‪.‬‬
‫• תרופות אנטי‪-‬פסיכוטיות (כגון‪ :‬הלופרידול‪ ,‬ריספרידון‪ ,‬קלוזפין)‪.‬‬
‫• פניצילאמין‪.‬‬
‫ הריון והנקה‪:‬‬
‫ספרי לרופא אם הינך בהריון‪ ,‬מתכננת הריון או מניקה‪.‬‬
‫ נהיגה ושימוש במכונות לאחר נטילת ציטראפליט‪:‬‬
‫הימנע מנהיגה וכן מהפעלת מכונות מסוכנות‪ ,‬במידה ואתה חש סחרחורת או‬
‫עייפות לאחר נטילת ציטראפליט‪.‬‬
‫ מידע חשוב על חלק מהמרכיבים של התרופה‪:‬‬
‫בכל שקית של ציטראפליט יש ‪ 195‬מ"ג )‪ (5 mmol‬של אשלגן‪ .‬מידע זה‬
‫חשוב באם הנך סובל מבעיה בתפקוד הכליות או שהנך בדיאטה דלת אשלגן‪.‬‬
‫‪ )3‬כיצד תשתמש בתרופה?‬
‫תמיד יש להשתמש לפי הוראות הרופא‪ .‬אם אינך בטוח באשר לאופן השימוש‬
‫עליך להתייעץ עם הרופא או הרוקח‪.‬‬
‫עליך לצפות ליציאות תכופות ונוזליות (בדומה לשלשול) לאחר נטילת ציטראפליט‪.‬‬
‫זו תופעה נורמלית המעידה על כך שהתרופה פועלת בגופך‪ .‬כדאי לוודא נגישות‬
‫לשירותים עד שהשפעת התרופה תחלוף‪ .‬על מנת למנוע התייבשות יש להקפיד‬
‫לשתות נוזלים צלולים (כגון‪ :‬מים‪ ,‬מרק צח‪ ,‬תה‪ ,‬קפה או מיצים מדוללים) במהלך‬
‫הטיפול‪ .‬ההמלצה היא לשתות כוס מלאה (כ‪ 250 -‬מ"ל) של מים או נוזל צלול‬
‫אחר כל שעה‪ ,‬עד שפעילות המעיים נפסקת‪ .‬לאחר מכן יש להקפיד ולשתות‬
‫לרוויה עד לסיום תהליך הבדיקה ו‪/‬או כפי שהורה הרופא‪.‬‬
‫אופן השימוש‬
‫מבוגרים מעל גיל ‪ 18‬שנים (לרבות קשישים)‪:‬‬
‫כל אריזה מכילה ‪ 2‬שקיות‪ .‬כל שקית מהווה מנה אחת למבוגר‪ .‬יש לקחת‬
‫את המנות בהפרש של ‪ 6-8‬שעות ביום שלפני הבדיקה‪.‬‬
‫מנה ראשונה ‪ -‬נטילה לפני ‪ 8‬בבוקר‪ ,‬לפני ארוחת בוקר‪ ,‬בבוקר היום‬
‫שלפני הבדיקה‬
‫שלב ‪ - 1‬יש לערבב את תכולת השקית בכוס של מי ברז קרים (כ‪ 150 -‬מ"ל)‪.‬‬
‫שלב ‪ - 2‬יש לערבב למשך ‪ 2-3‬דקות‪ .‬אם התמיסה מתחממת יש להמתין‬
‫שתתקרר לפני שתיה‪ .‬לתמיסה המוכנה יש צבע עכור‪ .‬יש לשתות אותה מיד‪.‬‬
‫מנה שנייה ‪ -‬נטילה בין ‪ 2‬ל‪ 4 -‬בצהריים‪ ,‬באותו היום של המנה הראשונה‪,‬‬
‫לאחר ארוחת הצהריים‪.‬‬
‫יש להכין את המנה בהתאם לשלבים ‪ 1‬ו‪ 2 -‬המפורטים למעלה‪.‬‬
‫לתרופה טעם וריח של לימון‪.‬‬
‫אין לעבור על המנה המומלצת‪.‬‬
‫ביום בו ניטלת התרופה כדאי לאכול ארוחות קטנות המורכבות ממאכלים שאינם‬
‫מעודדים פעילות מעיים כגון‪:‬‬
‫ ביצים‪ ,‬עדיפות למבושלות או שלוקות‪.‬‬‫ דגנים לרבות על בסיס תירס או אורז אך לא סובין‪.‬‬‫ גבינה לבנה או קוטג'‪.‬‬‫ תפו"א קלופים‪ ,‬מבושלים‪ ,‬אפויים או במחית אך לא צלויים או מטוגנים‪.‬‬‫ פסטה‪ ,‬אטריות או אורז‪.‬‬‫ בשר או דגים מבושלים היטב‪.‬‬‫ לחם לבן‪/‬טוסט‪.‬‬‫ סוכר או ממתיק‪.‬‬‫ ג'לי‪.‬‬‫ יש להמעיט שימוש בשומנים כגון חמאה‪ ,‬מרגרינה וכדומה‪.‬‬‫לאחר נטילת המנה השנייה אין לאכול מזון מוצק או חלב ומוצריו עד‬
‫לאחר הבדיקה‪ .‬ניתן לאכול מרק צלול או ג'לי‪.‬‬
‫לאחר ‪ 9‬בערב ביום שלפני הבדיקה‪ ,‬אין לאכול דבר עד לאחר הבדיקה‪.‬‬
‫אם נטלת בטעות מינון גבוה יותר עליך להתייעץ מיד עם רופא או רוקח‪.‬‬
‫אם נטלת מנת יתר או אם בטעות בלע ילד מן התרופה‪ ,‬פנה מיד לרופא או‬
‫לחדר מיון של בית חולים והבא אריזת התרופה איתך‪.‬‬
‫יש להשתמש בתכשיר כפי שהומלץ על‪-‬ידי הרופא‪.‬‬
‫אין ליטול תרופות בחושך! בדוק התווית והמנה בכל פעם שהנך נוטל תרופה‪.‬‬
‫הרכב משקפיים אם הנך זקוק להם‪.‬‬
‫אם יש לך שאלות נוספות בנוגע לשימוש בתרופה‪ ,‬היוועץ ברופא או ברוקח‪.‬‬
‫‪ )4‬תופעות לוואי‬
‫כמו בכל תרופה‪ ,‬השימוש בציטראפליט עלול לגרום לתופעות לוואי בחלק‬
‫מהמשתמשים‪ .‬אל תיבהל למקרא רשימת תופעות הלוואי‪ .‬יתכן ולא תסבול‬
‫מאף אחת מהן‪.‬‬
‫יש לפנות מיד לרופא ולא ליטול מנה נוספת אם אתה חש באחת או יותר‬
‫מהתופעות הבאות‪:‬‬
‫• תגובות אלרגיות חמורות שעלולות להוביל לקושי בנשימה‪.‬‬
‫• כאבי בטן חריפים וממושכים‪.‬‬
‫תופעות לוואי שכיחות מאוד (תופעות שמופיעות ביותר ממשתמש‬
‫אחד מעשרה)‪:‬‬
‫• כאב בטן‪.‬‬
‫‪ )5‬איך לאחסן את התרופה?‬
‫• מנע הרעלה! תרופה זו וכל תרופה אחרת יש לשמור במקום סגור מחוץ‬
‫להישג ידם של ילדים ו‪/‬או תינוקות ועל‪-‬ידי כך תמנע הרעלה‪ .‬אל תגרום‬
‫להקאה ללא הוראה מפורשת מהרופא‪.‬‬
‫• אין להשתמש בתרופה לאחר תאריך התפוגה (‪ )exp. date‬המופיע על גבי‬
‫האריזה‪/‬השקית‪ .‬תאריך התפוגה מתייחס ליום האחרון של אותו חודש‪.‬‬
‫• יש לאחסן בטמפרטורה שאינה עולה על ‪.250C‬‬

CITRAFLEET
Powder for oral solution in sachet
Composition:
Each sachet contains the following active ingredients:
Sodium Picosulfate 10 mg
Light magnesium oxide 3.5 g
Citric acid anhydrous 10.97 g
For inactive ingredients in the preparation– see section 6.
Read this leaflet carefully in its entirety before using the medicine.
This leaflet contains concise information about the medicine. If you have
further questions, refer to a doctor or pharmacist.
This medicine has been prescribed for you. Do not pass it on to others. It may
harm them, even if it seems to you that their medical condition is similar.
The medicine is intended for adults over 18 years of age.
The medicine is intended for emptying the bowel for diagnostic
purposes only (before an x-ray examination, surgery or endoscopy).
The success of the test depends on a clean bowel; therefore, it is
important to carefully follow the doctor’s instructions.
Expect frequent and loose bowel movements. Make sure that you have
access to a toilet after taking CitraFleet.
In order to restore the lost fluids to the body, it is important to drink a lot
of clear liquids (such as: water, clear soup, tea, coffee or diluted juices)
during treatment with the medicine. Drink a full cup (about 250 ml) of water
or other clear fluid every hour, until the bowel movements cease.
In case of heart or kidney problems, do not use the product without
consulting a doctor.
After using the medicine, side effects are possible. Nonetheless, acute
and prolonged stomach pains or severe allergic reactions that may lead
to difficulty breathing require cessation of treatment and immediate
consultation with a doctor!
In elderly people there is a need for extra vigilance regarding side effects
due to increased risk of electrolyte imbalance in the body.
1) What is the medicine intended for?
The medicine is intended for emptying/cleansing the bowel before a
diagnostic procedure such as an x-ray, surgery or endoscopy (a procedure
that looks inside the bowel by inserting an instrument through the
anus).
Emptying of the bowel is enabled due to two laxative substances that are
provided as a mixture in each sachet.
Therapeutic group: Laxative.
Special warnings regarding use of the medicine
Before treatment with CitraFleet, tell the doctor:
- If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
- If you suffer, or have suffered in the past, from impaired function of the
heart or kidney.
- If you suffer from low blood pressure.
- If you are diabetic.
- If you recently had surgery on your gut.
- If you suffer, or have suffered in the past, from water and/or electrolyte
imbalance (sodium or potassium - a condition known as hyponatremia
or hypokalemia) due to a medical condition and/or use of medicines
that cause this (such as: diuretics, steroids, lithium, etc.).
- If you have epilepsy or a history of seizures.
- If you are elderly or physically weak.
- If you are thirsty or think you may be mildly dehydrated.
Do not use CitraFleet as a routine laxative.
In elderly people, there is a need for extra vigilance regarding side effects
due to increased risk of electrolyte imbalance in the body.
If you are taking, or have recently taken, other medicines, including
non-prescription medicines and food supplements, tell the doctor or
pharmacist. It is especially important to inform a doctor or pharmacist if
you take the following medicines:
•Agents that regularize intestinal activity (such as: bran).
•Oral contraceptives, medicines to treat diabetes, antibiotics, antiepileptics (such as: carbamazepine) - their effects may be impaired.
Therefore, take them at least two hours before/not less than six hours
after taking CitraFleet.
•Diuretics (such as: furosemide), steroids (such as: prednisone), lithium,
digoxin, antidepressants – due to their effect on water and/or electrolyte
balance in the body.
•Medicines from the NSAID group (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs)
such as aspirin and ibuprofen.
•Antipsychotic drugs (such as: haloperidol, risperidone, clozapine).
•Penicillamine.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding:
Tell the doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are
breastfeeding.
Driving and using machines after taking CitraFleet:
Avoid driving and as well as using dangerous machinery if you feel dizzy
or tired after taking CitraFleet.
Important information regarding some of the ingredients of the
medicine:
In each sachet of CitraFleet there are 195 mg (5 mmol) potassium. This
information is important if you suffer from a kidney function problem or
are on a low-potassium diet.
3) HOW SHOULD YOU USE THE MEDICINE?
Always use according to the doctor’s instructions. Check with the doctor
or pharmacist if you are unsure.
Expect frequent and loose bowel movements (resembling diarrhea) after
taking CitraFleet. This is a normal effect that indicates that the medicine
is working in your body. It is advisable to ensure access to a toilet until
the effect of the medicine wears off. In order to avoid dehydration, make
sure to drink clear fluids (such as: water, clear soup, tea, coffee, or diluted
juices) during treatment. It is recommended to drink a full cup (about 250
ml) of water or a clear fluid every hour, until the bowel movements cease.
After this, drink to satisfy thirst until completion of the procedure, and/or
as directed by the doctor.
The dosage and treatment regimen will be determined by the doctor only,
in order to ensure proper cleansing of the bowel. If you have not received
instructions for use, follow the directions that appear below.
Unless otherwise directed by the doctor, do not take more than the
prescribed dose within a 24-hour period.
Directions for use
Adults over 18 years of age (including elderly patients):
Each package contains 2 sachets. Each sachet constitutes one adult
dose. Doses should be taken 6-8 hours apart on the day before the
procedure.
Dose 1 – to be taken before 8 a.m., before breakfast, in the morning
of the day before the procedure.
Step 1 - Mix the contents of the sachet with a cup of cold tap water
(approximately 150 ml).
Step 2 - Stir for 2-3 minutes. If the solution becomes hot, wait until it has
cooled down before drinking. The prepared solution will appear cloudy.
Drink it immediately.
Dose 2 – to be taken between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., on the same day as
Dose 1, after lunch.
Prepare the dose as described above in steps 1 and 2.
The medicine has the taste and smell of lemon.
Do not exceed the recommended dose.
On the day that you take the medicine it is best to have small meals made
up of foods that do not stimulate bowel activity such as:
- Eggs, preferably boiled and poached.
- Cereals including corn - or rice-based cereals, but not bran.
- White cheese or cottage cheese.
- Peeled, boiled, baked or mashed but not roasted or deep fried
potatoes.
- Pasta, noodles or rice.
- Meat or fish, well cooked.
- White bread/toast.
- Sugar or sweetener.
- Jello.
- Fats such as butter, margarine and the like should be used sparingly.
After taking the second dose, do not eat any solid food or milk and dairy
products until after the procedure. You may eat clear soup or jello.
Do not eat anything from 9 P.M. from the day before the procedure,
until after the procedure.
If you accidentally took a higher dosage, immediately consult a doctor
or pharmacist.
If you took an overdose, or if a child has accidentally swallowed the
medicine, refer immediately to a doctor or proceed to a hospital emergency
room, and bring the package of the medicine with you.
Use the preparation as recommended by the doctor.
Do not take medicines in the dark! Check the label and the dose each
time you take medicine. Wear glasses if you need them.
If you have further questions regarding use of the medicine, consult a
doctor or pharmacist.
4) SIDE EFFECTS
As with any medicine, use of CitraFleet may cause side effects in some
users. Do not be alarmed by the list of side effects. You may not suffer
from any of them.
Contact the doctor immediately and do not take an additional dose
if you experience one or more of the following effects:
•Severe allergic reactions which may lead to difficulty breathing.
•Acute and prolonged abdominal pains.
Very common side effects (effects that appear in more than 1 in 10
users):
•Abdominal pain.
Common side effects (effects that appear in 1 to 10 users out of
100):
•Abdominal discomfort/distention
•Feeling thirsty.
•Anal discomfort and/or pain.
•Fatigue, exhaustion.
•Headache.
•Dry mouth.
•Nausea.
•Sleep disorders.
Uncommon side effects (effects that appear in 1 to 10 users out of
1000):
•Rash or itching.
•Dizziness.
•Vomiting and severe diarrhea that may lead to dehydration accompanied
by headache and confusion if the user does not replenish the lost fluids
and electrolytes.
•Inability to control bowel movements.
•Decreased sodium or potassium levels in the blood with or without
convulsions (seizures have been occasionally reported in epileptic
patients).
Additional side effects of unknown frequency:
•Drop in blood pressure when moving from a sitting to standing position,
manifested by dizziness or instability.
•Confusion.
If one of the side effects worsens, or if you suffer from a side effect not
mentioned in the leaflet, you must consult with the doctor.
5) HOW SHOULD THE MEDICINE BE STORED?
•Avoid poisoning! This medicine, and any other medicine, should be
kept in a safe place out of the reach of children and/or infants in order
to avoid poisoning. Do not induce vomiting without explicit instruction
from a doctor.
•Do not use the medicine after the expiry date (exp. date) appearing on the
package/sachet. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
•Store at a temperature that does not exceed 25ºC.
6) FURTHER INFORMATION
In addition to the active ingredient, the medicine also contains inactive
ingredients:
Potassium hydrogen carbonate, saccharin sodium, lemon flavor.
What does the medicine look like and what are the contents of the
package?
In every package of CitraFleet powder for oral solution there are two
sachets that contain white powder crystals. Each sachet contains one
adult dose.

2) BEFORE USING THE MEDICINE
Do not use the medicine:
•If there is a known sensitivity to the ingredients of the medicine.
•If you are suffering from congestive heart failure.
•If you are suffering from impaired ability to emtpy your stomach
(gastric retention).
•If you are suffering from intestinal ulcers (gastric or duodenal
ulcers).
•If you are suffering from a blockage or disruption of bowel motility
(ileus).
•If you are suffering from a damaged gut wall (toxic colitis).
•If you are suffering from a widened large intestine (toxic megacolon).
•If you are suffering from nausea and/or vomiting.
•If you are suffering from severe dehydration.
•If you are suffering from ascites - a condition in which fluids accumulate
in the abdominal cavity.
•If you have recently had abdominal surgery (such as: appendectomy).
•If you are suffering from an obstruction or perforation in the digestive
system.
•If you are suffering from an acute abdominal surgical condition such
as: appendicitis.
•If you are suffering from an inflammatory bowel disease, such as:
Crohn’s disease or colitis.
•If you are suffering from severely impaired function of the kidneys or
from excess of magnesium in the blood (hypermagnesaemia).
•If you are suffering from breakdown of the muscle tissue
(rhabdomyolysis).
