CONDOLENCES (CCC 1227) “According to the Apostle Paul, the believer enters through Baptism into communion with Christ’s death, is buried with him, and rises with him (CCC 1405) “There is no surer pledge or clearer sign of this great hope in the new heavens and new earth ‘in which righteousness dwells,’ than the Eucharist. Every time this mystery is celebrated, ‘the work of our redemption is carried on’ and we ‘break the one bread that provides the medicine of immortality, the antidote for death, and the food that makes us live forever in Jesus Christ.’” With this great hope we pray for our sister who has died: …The baptized have ‘put on Christ.’ Through the Holy Spirit, Baptism is a bath that purifies, justifies, and sanctifies.”’ Remember to pray for our newly baptized who have entered into the Body of Christ; Levi William Banfield Lottie A. Grajewski, 86, October 31 Child of Todd & Kelli (Klein) Banfield May they “put on Christ, as they become members of the church.” May she enjoy the eternal banquet the Lord has prepared for her.
