PROGRAM AND REGISTRATION
ABOUT THE MCA
The Minerals Council of Australia (MCA) represents Australia’s exploration, mining and
minerals processing industry, nationally and internationally, in its contribution to sustainable
development and society.
The MCA’s strategic objective is to advocate public policy and operational practice for a worldclass industry that is safe, profitable, innovative, environmentally and socially responsible, and
attuned to community needs and expectations.
ABOUT THE NT MINERALS SUMMIT 2014
The Minerals Council of Australia is pleased to announce that the 2014 NT Mineral Summit will
be held in Darwin on Thursday 4 and Friday 5 December. This annual event brings together
industry decision-makers, opinion leaders and experts to provide up to date information on
the current mining, exploration, investment and development opportunities in the top end’s
exploration, mining and minerals processing industry.
To be held at the Darwin Convention Centre, the Summit will showcase the prosperity and
potential for the Northern Territory minerals industry and debate the policies required to keep
it strong. Celebrating 60 years of industry representation and the sector’s continued status as
the bedrock of the Northern Territory economy, the Summit will address the issues, successes
and challenges facing the industry. A Trade Expo will also provide suppliers with an opportunity
to demonstrate and display material and services to decision makers in the industry.
Further information on the Summit including details on Partnership and Promotional
opportunities please visit: www.ntmineralssummit.com.au or contact margie.whitrow@
