Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recirculation Units Energy-efficient, solutions for enhanced corrosion control Many industrial processes generate contaminant gases that can cause corrosion. Even minor damage to electronic components can have serious consequences, e. g. fault signals, unplanned downtime, high repair costs. The Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recirculation Unit is a complete system used to control organic and inorganic gaseous contaminants by activated carbon adsorption and chemical reaction. It provides highly purified air for recirculating air within a control cabinet to prevent damage from contaminated air. Each system is pre-engineered and includes a fan, a particulate pre-filter, a edia honeycomb matrix (HM®) activated carbon module with Versacomb™ m and a particulate final filter. The compact footprint of the Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recirculation Unit makes it ideal for mounting inside of sealed control cabinets. 4 How Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recirculation Unit 15HM work 1 Intake of contaminated outside air 2 Pre-filtration 3 Fine filtration Honeycomb matrix (HM®) activated carbon module with Versacomb™ media 4 Purified air free of fine particles and contaminant gases Figure: Example of a Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recircukation Unit 15HM 3 2 1 2 1 2 How Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recirculation Unit 3HM/10HM work 3 3 Figure: Example of a Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recircukation Unit 3HM and 10HM 4 1 Intake of contaminated outside air 2 Media retention knob 3 Air outlet holes 4 Purified air free of fine particles and contaminant gases 02 - GP - 291 - November - 2014 - US Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recirculation Units Energy-efficient, solutions for enhanced corrosion control Features and benefits The Viledon HM Cabinet Recirculation Unit is designed to control the harmful effects of low concentrations of corrosive gases in sealed electrical cabinets. Through the use of Honeycomb Matrix (HM®) activated carbon cubes with Versacomb™ media, the vapor adsorber will stop the damage to process control equipment from corrosive gases such as H2S, Cl2, ClO2 and SO2 to name a few. The Viledon® HM® Cabinet Recirculation Unit continuously scrubs the air inside of the control cabinet, providing highly purified air, and thereby eliminating corrosion of the equipment inside the cabinet. Unlike other systems, our systems include comprehensive follow-up service with regular inspection of both the equipment and the cabinet(s) that the equipment protects. ® ® Properties Unit size dimensions (W × L × H) Air purification capacity Media Particulate filtration Completely self-contained Can be mounted horizontally or vertically Aluminum construction for enhanced corrosion protection Applications Pulp and paper, petro-chemical, steel, titanium, wastewater treatment, specialty chemical, grain processing and industrial processes. 3 HM 10 HM 15 HM in 3.5 x 10.75 x 3.75 (5 lb) 3.5 x 10.75 x 3.75 (7 lb) 8 x 13 x 8 (15 lb) CFM 3 10 14 in 6 HM™ module (1 pass) 6 HM™ module (1 pass) 4 HM™ module (1 pass) MERV 8 (2 passes) 8 (2 passes) 8 (2 passes) 24 VDC 24 VDC 120V | 60 Hz | 1 Ph 3 | 0.2 4 | 0.5 7.5 | 0.13 Power supply Power consumed Provides corrosion protection for electronic cabinets that can not be located in protected rooms W|A The figures shown are mean values, subject to tolerances due to normal production variables.
