Community Transport
Commissioning – part 2
Discussions are continuing with
the Community Transport sector
over the introduction of the
strategy for CT service provision
that was previously consulted on.
Consideration is being given to
broadening the scope of the
strategy and early work is
progressing on this. If, as is
anticipated, the strategy is to be
introduced from April 2016, then
a Cabinet decision will be
required later in 2015.
Highways maintenance
contract consolidation
The procurement of a new
highway maintenance contract(s)
for commencement in April 2017
will require a key decision
towards the end of 2015. The
options for the type of contract
arrangement are currently being
developed using expert advice
and with input from Place
Scrutiny.
Waste disposal treatment
contract
To approve a waste disposal
treatment contract.
