This competition will be run in accordance with the current Pony Club Dressage Rule Book 2014
It is the responsibility of competitors to make themselves familiar with these rules.
In the interest of safety we may limit the number of horses in the warm up arena at any given time.
Every precaution has been taken to ensure the health, safety and welfare of those attending this competition.
For these measures to be effective everyone must do as directed by the stewards and ensure that their own
actions will not endanger anyone else.
The organisers will not be held responsible for loss, damage or injury to people, property or animals.
First 4 to qualify in class 6, 7 & 8
Qualifiers from the Preliminary round must do 2nd round at their own Area Championship.
If rider/horse has already qualified in another Preliminary round the place may pass down the line.
The organisers’ decision is final.
Objections need to be made within 10 minutes of the completion of class with a £15 deposit.
The tests may be called in ALL classes
NOVICE DRESSAGE DENGIE ELIGIBILITY
Open to individual Pony Club Members, but excluding any combination of horse/pony and rider that have
represented their Branch at Open Area qualifiers for The Pony Club Dressage Championships or any Rider who
has competed at The Pony Club Open Dressage Championships. (This does not include any other classes held
in conjunction with Area Qualifiers.
Riders must not have any BD (or DI) points or competed at BD (or DI) Elementary level or above.
Centre Members are invited to compete in this competition.
Horses may be graded British Novice or below.
OPEN DRESSAGE DENGIE ELIGIBILITY
Open to all Members of the Pony Club, including Associates. Centre Members are invited to compete in this
competition.
Horses which have competed at Advanced Medium level or above during the current year are not eligible. This
included Hors Concours entries
NPS Dressage Sections:
1. Registered Mountain & Moorland breeds not exceeding 138cm
2. Registered Mountain & Moorland breeds exceeding 138cm
3. Registered British Riding Ponies
4. Part Bred Horses/Ponies registered with their appropriate Native Breed Part Bred Stud Book – including Part
Bred Arab ponies over stamped in the British Riding Pony Stud book and ponies registered with the British
Sports Pony Stud Book. Please note Part Bred Native ponies and Sports ponies over stamped within the British
Riding Pony & Stud Book may only compete in one section per season.
5. Highest placed Mini rider aged under 12 years on 1st January 2014 6. Highest placed Junior rider under 18
years on 1st January 2014
The two highest placed ponies in each section at each qualifying show will qualify for the 2014 Final and also be
eligible to be chosen to represent their Breed, NPS Area or other team in the Team Challenge which will be
incorporated into the 2014 Championship Final.
Qualifying rounds are open to competitors from the UK and elsewhere. All qualifiers will receive a qualification
card, The Final will run in accordance with the 2014/2015 NPS Dressage Rules which will be available to all NPS
