Run under NZPCA Rules and Rules of Dressage NZ Incorporating NZPCA Dressage Competition Rules 2 The Committee reserves the right to alter the programme. 3 Dress and Saddlery It is the responsibility of the competitors that their dress and saddlery are in accordance with the Rules. Contravention will incur elimination. This applies to all classes. Queries – consult the Chief Steward or Technical Delegate. 4. All riders must be Pony Club members, Junior: Riders 15 and under as at the first day of competition in the year in which the championships are held. Senior: Riders 16 as at the first day of competition in the year in which the championships are held to the end of the season they reach the age of 21. The season being from the 1 August until the 31 July the following year. 5. Riders may compete at any level but if registered with DNZ must not compete lower than their mounts current grading Level – Exception: 12 years and under classes and Pairs can choose level. Note: DNZ Grading Points can only be gained in *Classes at the mounts current grading level or above. 6. Eligibility for DNZ Grading Points. Horses and ponies must be registered with the NF Art.462 and Riders must be members of ESNZ Art.463. Note: Pony riders turning 16 yrs after 1 August 2014 are eligible to compete up until 31st July 2015. Horse riders may compete from the beginning of the Calendar year in which they turn 12 yrs. 7. Dressage Tests – Dressage NZ Tests (Effective from 2nd September 2013). NZPCA Test - Prix Caprilli 8. AREA TEAM DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP for Area Finalists only. Tests will be released by NZPCA. If a rider is competing in a test prior to their Championship test, at least one hour will be allowed between tests. 9. A maximum of three tests per day per horses/pony (including Area Team Championship test, Pairs and Prix Caprilli). 10. Callers permitted in all tests except Area Teams Championships and Pairs. 11. 12 & under points prize for overall winner 12. Scratchings on entries notified by Friday 16th January on production of vet or medical certificate will receive a refund less 20% on Secretary receiving an SAE by 31st January. 13.
