GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FITZWILLIAM HUNT PONY CLUB 1. Hats must be tagged to show they conform with Pony Club Hat standards 2. The judges’ decision is final. 3. Horses and ponies must be at least 4 years old. 4. The organisers reserve the right to cancel or change any class. 5. Preliminary rounds will be run in accordance with the 2014 Pony Club Dressage Rule Book and Dengie Dressage Rules 2014/2015 6. In case of accident any costs to the vet must be met by the injured party. Vet contact details available LEGAL LIABILITY Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor The Pony Club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accept any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. HEALTH AND SAFETY The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards. Class 2 – Dengie Novice Qualifier Pony Club Novice Dressage Test 2009 Open to Pony Club Members/Centre Members, but excluding any combination of horse/pony and rider that have represented their branch at Open or Intermediate Area qualifiers of the Pony Club Dressage Championships or any rider who has competed at the Pony Club Open or Intermediate Dressage Championships. Riders must not have won any BD (or DI) points or competed at BD (DI) novice level or above. Horses may be graded BD novice or below Class 3 Novice 28 2008 Open to members and non members Class 4 – Dengie Open Qualifier Pony Club Intermediate Dressage Test 2009 Open to all members of The Pony Club, including Associates and Centre Members. Horses which have competed at BD Advanced Medium level or above during the current year are not eligible, this includes Hors Concours entries. Entry Fee : £11.00 – Fitzwilliam Pony Club members £12.00 – other Pony Club members / non Pony Club members (Cheques payable to : Fitzwilliam Pony Club) Rosettes to 6th Place Times will be available on Friday 21st November on www.pcuk.org/fitzwilliam or call 01487 841342, 7pm -9pm Dressage Tests can be downloaded from www.pcuk.org / britishdressage.co.uk RULES FOR DENGIE WINTER LEAGUE DRESSAGE GENERAL RULES APPLICABLE TO ALL LEVELS At Area Competitions, horses and/or riders who qualify for both the Novice and Open Winter League Championships in the same year must nominate which class they wish to compete in on the day they qualify so that the qualification can be passed down the line. Riders can only compete at one level at the Championship. PASSING DOWN THE LINE - In the event of a competitor being placed in a qualifying position at a Preliminary Round when they have already qualified for the Area Competition the place may pass down the line. If a competitor who qualifies for the Championships at their Area Competition subsequently discovers that they are unable to compete at the Championships, then the qualification will pass down the line. MULTIPLE HORSES – In the event of a rider qualifying more than one horse for the Championships, they may only take one horse to the Championships and must nominate which one they will take at the Area Competition. The other qualifying place will be passed down the line. SUBSTITUTIONS – Substitutions of horse/pony or rider will not be accepted at Area Competitions or at the Championships. SADDLERY AND DRESS - The Pony Club saddlery and dress rules apply at the Area Competitions and at the Championships.
