ABOUT
Gullmarsstrand is as close to the ocean as you can get, at a jetty overlooking the islands and bays of Gullmarsfjorden. Our unique location by the sea,
evokes a feeling of absolute tranquility and relaxation.
The hotel has emerged slowly over thirty-five years, under the same ownership of three brothers. The starting point was the old bathhouse restaurant
in Fiskebäckskil. Room by room and building by building has been added
cautiously and thoughtfully. Inspired by the site's power and beauty, they have
allowed the facility to emerge in sedate pace. When at first sight you will see
how smoothly the hotel buildings blend into the beautiful Fiskebäckskil. In
picturesque Fiskebäckskil there is still an ever present feeling of sea voyages
and weather-beaten ships. A stroll along the cobblestoned alley-ways is enthusiastically recommended.
The moment you arrive you will find yourself a place to rest,
a place for recreation. But when the urge takes on are there
numerous experiences and adventures to enjoy from. Both
near by or in area, on shore or out on the ocean. We also offers
everything from themed conference and activities for the whole
groupe. As well as we caters relaxation and enjoyment at our spa
"Sinneas Havsbad", for both the conference group as the romantic week-end. Our “Sinnenas Havsbad” is our way of keeping
up the bathing tradition by offering a more modern version of
a “cold bathing house”. Here you can enjoy saunas with varying
temperatures and a breathtaking view. This experience is just as
spectacular, winter or summer alike.
We are open all year for get aways, meetings, weddings, partys
and restaurant visits.
CUISINE
Our cuisine creates different menus deriving from local seasonal
ingredients. Guests usually stay seated a while whilst dining and
merely enjoy the moment. The view contributes in every way. We
work with local distributers and are members of “Väst- svensk
Mersmak”. We are convinced that you will take notice of our
passion for service, whether it is in the food we serve or how we
receive you as our guest.

Fully licensed restaurant with the large dining room that seats 120
people, another 40 people can fit in the small dining room, all with
a wonderful sea views towards Gullmarsfjorden. In addition, there
are a lounge and bar for about 80 people on our lovely porch.
HOW TO FIND US:
About 1 hour and 15 minutes from
Gothenburg (E6 and road 161 towards
Lysekil). Follow the E6 towards Oslo,
after Uddevalla bridge turn off at Torp
and running towards Lysekil and then
follow the signs to Fiskebäckskil.
