All roads that intersect with East Main Street will be closed. The closure will be in effect from 4:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Cross Street and The Boardwalk will be closed after the parade for holiday events as well. The detour route will utilize Wellington Street, Lincoln Street and Prince Charles Drive. Canada Post mail carriers will be ke sure picking them up along the route. Volunteers, along with the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council will be collecting unwrapped toys along the route. Look for the Giant FM Vehicle! Toys can also be donated inside City Hall during our Children’s Holiday Party. Thank you for your generosity! In addition, the rock n’ roll band Fear The Worst will be performing live outside on stage after Santa lights the tree. Let’s dance and celebrate with the Children of Welland!
