Please join me in bidding our kind and energetic Activities Assistant, Kathy Mayer a kind farewell as she is moving on to be closer to her family. We will certainly miss her enthusiasm and vivacious personality. Wishing you all the best, Kathy! Have you received your flu shot? We strongly encourage everyone to get a flu shot during this season to help us remain healthy and prevent the spread of flu. It is very important this time of year to practice good infection control methods. For instance, be sure and wash your hands frequently with soap and water. Use hand sanitizer if soap and water are not available. Reschedule visits if you are sick to prevent the chance of spreading illness. If you have to sneeze or cough do not use your hands; cough or sneeze into your shoulder instead to keep the germs away from your hands and away from others. It is essential to sanitize your hands frequently. Stay well! Potomac Place wishes you a very Happy and Healthy November. Sincerely, Kathryn Barnes Executive Director
