Entry Fees
All Classes- $25 per test
Late Entry fee- $20 per class
Ground Fee - $30 per horse if two or three days entered OR $20 if riding only one day
Admin Fee - $15 per rider (includes programme available from office) non-refundable
Open Yard - $25.00 for 2 nights with additional nights $10 per yard per night
Covered Yard (limited) $45.00 for 2 nights any additional nights $15 per yard per night.
Some Stallion accommodation is available, open & covered but must be clearly requested. $40 for weekend.
Camping per Truck $20.00 for the weekend.

Young Horse test are EFA Commanded Test (Round 1) available on the ESNZ website and can be ridden from memory.
Only one horse will ride at a time.

Terms and Conditions - please read carefully
1. Competitors and spectators attending this competition do so at
their own risk. The organising committee disclaims all liability in the
event of any accident, or damage to any horse, rider, spectator,
person, and/or property.
2. Entries for graded classes must be on official ESNZ entry forms
with the appropriate stickers complete with signature. or entered
through Equestrian entries. Entries for non graded classes (Class 15
and Class 16) to be on special entry form available on our website,
or through Equestrian Entries.
3. Late entries may be accepted given availability, but will not be
guaranteed until full payment received & only if space allows.
4. All Classes are run under ESNZ Rules. Bridle numbers and Stallion
tags must be worn at all times, riding, leading, in pens at trucks /
floats etc.
It is also a requirement of DNZ and the OC that a stallion rider (or
handler) comply with Article 147 of the ESNZ GR’s , and wear a
stallion identification at all times when riding or leading a stallion,
except it is optional for the rider to wear the identification in the
test.
5. Only horses/ponies entered in the competition are allowed on
the ground.
6. Class 17, Dustan Bonanza Qualifier– special class for non graded
and CN/C1/C2 riders riding horses and ponies which are either non
graded or graded Level 1 or Level 2 with less than 30 points in Level
2, see ESNZ website for full entry details.
7. Pony classes are for ponies ridden by riders who are aged 16yrs
and below, riders who turn 16yrs on or after August 1st 2014 are
eligible to ride in the pony classes until July 31st 2015 – ponies and
these riders are restricted to those classes, see rule 462-8. However
under special conditions for the Bonanza qualifier, level challenges
and level musical freestyles, ponies are eligible to enter a challenge
/musical class in their grade but will not count for the championship
points. Level 3 and above ponies and ponies ridden by riders 17 and
over (incl adults) may enter normal classes.
8.Champions will be decided over all tests in that level
9. Dressage Waitemata Champions are awarded in each level, and
include additional and separate championships in Level 1 for CN/C1
riders, and Level 2 for CN/C1/C2 riders – all championships will be
decided by a points system, details of which will be available in our
programme. Only one champion is allowed per combination, riders to
nominate after the results if they have won two championships. A
combination that has previously won a Category Restricted
championship at our competition is not eligible to win the same
championship again. Young Rider and Pony champions will be decided
on a points system, details of which will be in the programme.
Class 16 & 17 do not count towards championship points.
10. A trophy will be awarded to each champion. Winners of the
musical freestyles, best warmblood, young rider and pony rider, plus
overall show champion will also receive a trophy. Champions will be
decided on the highest results within their respective level.
11.The Dressage Waitemata Committee reserves the right to refuse
any entry and to change the programme. Abuse of horses or officials
will not be tolerated.
12. Scratchings to be advised to either 021 0223 7163 or email
[email protected] (preferred), with rider and horse
name and bridle number and details of classes entered. A full refund
will be given if scratching advised before close of entries (9pm Friday
21st November). After November 21st a maximum of 75% will be
refunded but only if the request is received within 7 days of the
competition (final date would be 21st December 2014) and
accompanied by a vet, farrier or doctor’s certificate
13. CN/C1/C2 riders competing in Level 1 and Level 2 will compete
with the open riders in their respective tests, but will be eligible for a
separate set of rosettes, and are still eligible for prizemoney & overall
rosettes should they place overall in the test.
14. Maximum of 2 tests per day on any one horse
15. All horses / ponies on grounds must have an identification tag on
them at all times when not under saddle, with rider details and
contact number.
