The blessing for the high school graduates will th on Sunday May 18 at the 8:30am worship service. There will be a cake reception following the service to congratulate our seniors. The third annual SAINT JOHN LUTHERAN QUILTS AND MORE SILENT AUCTION is coming! Look for it in late September. This event helps support our youth summer at camp and the high school trip. Now is the time to consider making something to contribute to this event!!! Besides quilts, other handmade fabric items (e.g., aprons, purses, tote bags...) have been popular. Further details forthcoming. THE WORSHIP COMMITTEE will not meet in May. The next meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. on June 10. CHILDRENS SQUARE USA - Looking for Summer Volunteers. We are scheduling our summer Bible Study lessons and are wondering if you would be interested in joining us as a teacher. Our summer schedule for bible study is 6 lessons focusing on Forgiveness, Parables and Being a Child of God. The Baby Grand Piano in the Worship Center at Bethany has served many individuals over the years and is needing to be replaced. The cost to replace it with a trade-in is $8,800.
