Look at our pretty new fence! It’s a
work in progress, but doesn’t it look
great? Thanks to Mindi Craddock
and Jessica Fleming for working so
hard on such a chilly day to make it
look so wonderful!
It’s a Grand Contest!
Start saving those Grand Receipts.
The Week of December 1-5th, we will
be collecting receipts from Grand
Foods. Each classroom will have an
envelope that week to store receipts,
and the class at the end of the week
with the highest receipt total will win
an OUT OF UNIFORM DAY! The
Grand gives us back 3% of our pre-tax
total. Just do your shopping and hold
onto those receipts until December!
Only receipts dated 11/10- 12/5 will
be accepted for the contest, but of
course we will take ANY you have!
Open House is coming up! Please
invite your friends and neighbors
to our Open Houses Nov 5th, from
9:30-11:30am and Nov. 6th at
7pm. We’d love to show them the
little school with the big heart!
Attached is our promotional flyer.
School Pictures!
Your child’s school picture should
have gone home a few weeks ago. If your child missed picture
day, or would like to retake, the
date is this Friday, starting first
thing in the morning. If you are
retaking, please let the office know,
and send in your picture packet
anytime between now and then, they
need it to retake, and I can hold it
here in the office. Friday will be
an out of uniform just for the kids
who are having their pictures taken.

The first P.A.S.S. distribution date for our talented staff is fast approaching. Thank you to all of the
families who have contributed to this very important program in the past!
What is P.A.S.S.? Parent Assisted Salary Supplement
P.A.S.S is designed to help reduce the 25% pay gap that exists between the public
school teacher salaries and those set by the Archdiocese
P.A.S.S is funded entirely by the voluntary, tax deductible donations of SHS parents
100% of all donations are paid to SHS teachers and staff
100% of school families are encouraged to participate. It takes a village !

Our goal is 100% participation in the P.A.S.S. program this year
Each Sacred Heart family is encouraged to contribute $1,000 per child K-8, and $500 per child in
Preschool or JK. If this amount is not feasible, please know that a donation of any amount to
P.A.S.S. is not only encouraged, but also vital to the success of the program.
Thank you for your support and for helping Sacred Heart School achieve its goal of 100%

Let’s share our Vader Spirit and
Trick or Treat for the Troops!
When: Monday, November 3rd in the school office
Halloween candy is being collected and will be sent to
our troops who are serving our country all around the
world. These yummy treats will be a sweet reminder to
our heroes, who are away from their families and
friends, of the fun times had at Halloween. It’s a way
for us to let them know the students at Sacred Heart
are thinking of them.
We will accept candy through Monday, November 10th.
