Joseph, passed away Sunday, October
26, 2014 in Topeka, KS. where she had
been a resident since 2010.
beatrice was born on August 20, 1928
in barnard, mO. to melvin and mabel
Leona (davidson) Wooten. She married James Henry Aldridge on may 3,
1947 in Troy, KS. He passed away on
April 12, 2014.
She worked as a machine operator at
H.d. Lee and was a homemaker.
beatrice was a member of the South
Park United methodist church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, brian Keith
Aldridge, two brothers, Gene Wooten,
curtis Wooten and daughter-in-law,
debora Aldridge.
Surviving family include sons, Larry
(Nancy) Aldridge and bruce (Randy)
Aldridge, 7 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren, 2 sisters, beverly Alford
and barbara duncan, one brother,
Lester Wooten.

Edwin “Ed” brumback, 86, of St.
Joseph, died Friday, October 31, 2014
at a local health care facility.
Ed was born on January 17, 1928 in
St. Joseph, to Frank and Theresa
(muehlebach) brumback. He married
the love of his life, marjorie Anne
Shuske, on September 14, 1950 in St.
Joseph.
He was a cadet colonel in ROTc at
Lafayette High School where he graduated. He served in the U.S. Army as a
Sgt First class in WWII and the
Korean War.
Ed was a member of the Faith United

Griffith chapter of the daughters of
American Revolution, and Andrew
county Senior center.

mrs. cowart was a member of Hyde
valley United methodist church,
Gamma Aletha, American Legion
Women’s Auxiliary and was on the
Southside Fall Festival committee.
She also gave back to her community
most notably during the flood of 1993
with the Salvation Army providing
meals and transportation to the flood
victims around big Lake.
She also enjoyed fishing, spending
time at big Lake, traveling and going
to craft shows.
marguart was preceded in death by
her husband of 50 years, Lyle; parents;
great uncle and aunt who raised her,
Albert and verna Norton; and sisters,
betty
bennett
and
maxine
mcLaughlin.
Survivors: daughter, Susan Edson
(Ed); grandson, Scott Edson (Kelly);
three great-grandchildren, mackenzie,
becca and Jordan; brother, Harvey
Shaw, Jr.; sister, Opal Polsgrove;

HPI for many years.
carlos was a member of the 4-F
Flathead club, and enjoyed fishing, sitting in the water on sandbars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, david contreras.

is survived by his daughter, Rebecca
(Robert) Robison, two sons, Paul
(melba) brumback, Eric (Kristi)
brumback; two grandchildren, brandon brumback and Lauren brumback.
mr. brumback has been cremated
under the direction of Heatonbowman-Smith & Sidenfaden chapel.
A private family service will be held at

2014 as the result of a train accident.
He was born december 26, 1984 in
Romanum, micronesia, son of Sarasina
and Roman Jicko. He has lived in St.
Joseph and worked at Triumph Foods
for a year. He attended St. James
catholic church.
Survivors include, several cousins,
including Reko buruta of St. Joseph.
Funeral service and prayer vigil were
held on Sunday at the Rupp Funeral
Home. Father Evan Harkins officiating. He will be transported to his home
in micronesia on Tuesday, and burial
prayer services will be held at his
