Jeff Marshall is proud to announce
the 35th season of the Playmaker Hockey
Development School. This school is offered
to help enhance the hockey skill level of area
youth hockey. This school contains 18 weekly classes, taught in three 6 week sessions.
Each class runs for an hour. The Playmaker
Hockey Development School will be held on
Tuesday afternoons, beginning at 4:30 PM,
at the North Olmsted Recreation Complex,
26000 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio.

PLAYMAKER HOCKEY
Jeff Marshall’s Playmaker Hockey
Development School is the most unique
hockey school offered to area hockey players. The hockey program provides 18 weeks
to learn the basic and advanced skill necessary to be a complete hockey skater. The
fundamental goals of the Playmaker Hockey
School are to reinforce, refine and commit
to habit, skating techniques, stick handling,
passing and shooting skills. Jeff Marshall’s
program is founded on the principle that
learning skating and hockey skills can be
fun! A good time is had by all, even while
learning the basic fundamentals that most
hockey players don’t like to practice.
The Playmaker Hockey Development
School will teach skaters the skating skills
not taught by any other hockey school or
instructors. Skills such as: Mohawks, proper
edge technique,

skate/body control, along with proper skating
form. Skating drills choreographed to music, so
as to make this intense training enjoyable, will
be an integral part of the school. As the school
progresses, skaters will integrate stick and puck
handling into their skating maneuvers.
BASIC FACTS
Area hockey clubs and coaches don’t have
enough time to spend working on their player’s
skating skills or provide proper conditioning. So
many parents have stated that their skaters are in
better skating condition in August, after attending the Playmaker Summer Hockey School, than
they are in January. Most area hockey coaches
spend practice time (as they should) working on
the player’s game skills. With the power skating
portion of this program, skaters will remain in
top hockey playing condition all winter and will
have better stamina than their teammates and
the competition. Not only will we focus on power skating,
but we will also focus on hockey skills. Stick
handling, passing and shooting skills will be an
integral part of the training.
BUILDING MORE THAN SKILLS
Training doesn’t end with just the skills. Attention is given to building the skater’s SELF
ESTEEM. Students are always encouraged and
never put down. We believe every student is in
our class because they want to improve. You
will never hear us “screaming” at a student or
"Cut Them Down". By making our students
believe in themselves, we find a greater rate of
improvement.

The Playmaker Hockey Schools are
under the direction of Jeff Marshall. Jeff has
attained the highest levels in figure skating.
He brings this training, along with his experience coaching national and international synchronized skating teams , plus coaching local
travel hockey teams, to this power skating
program. Jeff is the skating director for the
City of North Olmsted and skating instructor
for Baldwin Wallace College.
ENROLLMENT
The Playmaker Hockey Development
School enrollment is open to the Mite, Squirt
and Pee Wee level hockey player. Enrollment
will be limited. Skaters must have had at
least one year of hockey experience or have
attended any of the Jeff Marshall Hockey
Schools. Class acceptance will be on a first
come, first served basis. The class fee per
session is $90.00.
