event will provide updates on Secondary Trauma (self-care), Palliative Care Program, Problem-Related Distress Screening:
Meeting the New Standards of Care, colo-rectal cancer surgery and much more. The emphasis is on providing up-to-date
best practice to Oncology Nurses.

OBJECTIVES – By the end of this symposium the participant will be able to:
• State new and emerging trends in palliative care for patients and their families.
• Review case studies for patients with hematological malignancies and describe how to care for that patient population.
• State new and emerging colo-rectal surgery technologies as part of the treatment of cancer.
• Access a patient’s breast cancer case and appraise the whole treatment process.
• Identify what is a secondary trauma and describe what steps to take once recognized.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: Enloe Medical Center is offering six (6) Continuing Education contact hours for this event.

CANCELLATION /NOTIFICATION POLICY: Programs with fewer than twenty-five (25) pre-registrants seven (7) days prior to the scheduled
event may be cancelled. We will notify pre-registrants if a class is canceled. Pre-registrants who cancel two weeks prior to the event will receive a full refund. Those
who cancel in less than two weeks prior to the event will forfeit their registration fee.
