We Need Your Input
By Damian P. “Pat” Alagia, MD
Chief Physician Executive
We are beginning to schedule medical
staff town hall meetings specifically for
physicians and clinical providers.
These will be hosted by your local vice
president of medical affairs (CMO) and
me. While these meetings are open for others to attend,
including local administration, the agenda will be geared
towards our clinical audience. These town hall meetings will
give us an opportunity to share the strategic vision and plan
for KentuckyOne, but more importantly, to hear your
feedback on key topics such as operations, communications,
safety and quality. Your participation is critical. Please join us.
See our Medical Staff Town Hall Schedule.

Financial Progress & CHI Fiscal
Year Report
Though it is early in our fiscal year 2015, the
initial analysis of the financial reports is very
encouraging. KentuckyOne is on track with
the 2015 goals that Ruth Brinkley has
previously articulated. Accordingly, the
month-to-month trend of our financial
performance is encouraging.
Recently announced investments and
programs underline our long-term vision and
strength. These include the $9 million ER
expansion project at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth
Hospital and the completion of our $1 million
expansion and renovation program of the
KentuckyOne Health Breast Care Center at
Saint Joseph East. Read more…
