The Committee on Student Organizations (CSO) has the responsibility for investigating
and sanctioning student organizations charged with violations of university, state, or
student organization policies. Possible statuses include:
a. Termination
b. Suspension
c. Probation with Restrictions
Student organizations that have been Terminated include:
The University recommends that students not join or participate in any sponsored activity
by the listed group.
a. Sigma Alpha Mu Fraternity
Student organizations currently Suspended include:
Suspension means a temporary loss of all of an organization’s privileges for a specified
period of time, not to exceed two years.
a. Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity until 1/1/15
b. Badger Dairy Club until 12/12/14
c. Sigma Delta Tau until 6/1/15
Student organizations currently on Probation with Restrictions include:
Probation with Restrictions indicates that the organization has been restricted in its
activities due to sanctioning by the CSO.
a. Sigma Pi Fraternity, alcohol probation until December 12, 2014. During this time
Sigma Pi may only host or participate in events where alcohol is to be served if
the event takes place at a third party vendor.
b. Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity, alcohol probation until December 12, 2014. During
this time Tau Kappa Epsilon may not serve or allow the possession of alcohol at
any of its events.
c. Sigma Phi Epsilon, alcohol probation until March 1, 2015. During this time
Sigma Phi Epsilon may not serve or allow the possession of alcohol at any of its
events.
