The solar power markets are predicted to double in size in the
next five years. Photovoltaic technology is being refined based
on decades of data and field experience. Module manufacturers
are aiming for profitable, high quality manufacturing to ensure
that the industry is competitive and reliable in the long-term
to meet the 25 year insurance demands. The challenge is to
develop more efficient and cheaper production processes as
the industry has seen a price drop of 80% in a short space of
time.
This conference focuses on the polymers which form
components such as front sheet materials, encapsulants,
substrates, back sheet materials, high performance seals,
adhesives and concentrating lenses. Understanding these
thermoplastics and elastomers is key to developing this
high-tech industry.

special rate of $155 plus tax per night for a single or double room at

The social events organized for AMI’s Plastics in Photovoltaics 2014

Delegates may be substituted at any time at no charge. We ask that
you provide ample notification of substitution so that materials can be
prepared. Full refunds, less an administrative charge of $200 will only be
made on cancellations received prior to September 15, 2014. We regret that
we cannot make refunds on cancellations received after this date or for
no-shows at the conference. Please note that refunds cannot be made on
