PLASTICS IN
PHOTOVOLTAICS
2 0 1 4
November 11-12, 2014
Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, USA
AMI is pleased to invite you to participate in the fourth annual
Plastics in Photovoltaics 2014 conference, November 11-12, 2014,
at the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue.
The solar power markets are predicted to double in size in the
next five years. Photovoltaic technology is being refined based
on decades of data and field experience. Module manufacturers
are aiming for profitable, high quality manufacturing to ensure
that the industry is competitive and reliable in the long-term
to meet the 25 year insurance demands. The challenge is to
develop more efficient and cheaper production processes as
the industry has seen a price drop of 80% in a short space of
time.
This conference focuses on the polymers which form
components such as front sheet materials, encapsulants,
substrates, back sheet materials, high performance seals,
adhesives and concentrating lenses. Understanding these
thermoplastics and elastomers is key to developing this
high-tech industry.
Plastics in Photovoltaics 2014 provides a unique networking
and sourcing opportunity for photovoltaic manufacturers, solar
power companies, polymer and processing experts, and suppliers
to the industry.
