Speech & Debate - There is no Speech & Debate meeting this week or Speech practice but there is Debate practice on Thursday from 3pm to 5pm in Mrs. Kindred’s. Girls Soccer Tryouts - Try-outs for the FTHS Girls Soccer team will be Monday, 11/10, Wednesday, 11/12 and Thursday 11/13, 3:30 – 5:15pm @ the Ventura College practice fields. You MUST have completed and turned in your Athletic Clearance Packet prior to try-outs; if you need an Athletic Packet please see Mrs. Carey in the front office. If you are currently participating in a Fall sport you will be granted a try-out once you have been released from your Fall sport. PIES, PIES, PIES! Buena High Swim/Dive Team: All new and returning swim/dive team members must attend one of four meetings to sign up. Meeting location will be Room 153 during lunch or right after school on Wednesday November 12th or Thursday November 13th. Career, Job & Volunteer Expo - Are you a junior or senior who is not sure what to do post high school? On November 14th from 9-11, there will be an opportunity for juniors and seniors to explore their options by meeting representatives from local companies, colleges, apprenticeship programs, government agencies and non-profit organizations. Location: Ventura City Hall. Transportation will be provided by bus. Come to the media center to pick up a flyer and field trip authorization form and return the bottom portion by November 4.
