“Do your little bits of good where you are - it’s those little bits
of good put together that overwhelm the world”
Desmond Tutu
Dear Parents
As you are all aware I retire at the end of this year and the process of filling
the principal position has already started. You may have read in the media
about certain schools that have had particular challenges in ensuring that the
best person for the position is chosen and the stumbling blocks that SGB’s
and interview committees have had to navigate during this process. We are
fortunate that we have a very positive relationship with our Superintendent
of Education (Management), Mr Shezi and this is extremely important so
that the process is carried out correctly and professionally so that the new
incumbent will offer the very best to the learners, staff and the community in
the years to come.
If all the stakeholders are determined that the position will be filled based
on educational criteria then there should be no disputes or hidden and
emotionally driven agendas.
Everyone involved in this process has a duty to ensure that they are not sidetracked from ensuring the best education for our learners and choosing the
best candidate to lead this school as it moves into another exciting phase
over the next 7 to 10 years.
Yours sincerely
Neville Green

even though our girls were exhausted, they never gave up. We unfortunately we lost the
game 0-3.
The whole team was nominated for Lady of the Match in every game. The lady of the

your children will be involved in a fantastic array of events, some highlights
being tennis coaching, producing and acting in their own production, beading

home) and a hilarious puppet show put on by Terrence Livingstone from YO
Puppet Co. Furthermore, there will be a games
tournament and competition where your children
will be able to run and play to their hearts content!
Our aim is not only for your children to thoroughly
enjoy what they are doing but also to learn a
