PAGE 3 COSTUME DEPOSITS ORDERING COSTUMES The office will continue to accept costume deposits this month. We have found it helpful to offer a payment plan to conveniently spread out Recital expenses. Costume deposits are OPTIONAL. Estimated costume costs are $120-$135 per costume. $40 - $45 (per month) in October, November, and December is suggested, though any amount is acceptable. When making a deposit, please use a separate check. Put your child’s first and last name as well as “costume deposit” in the memo space on the check. Any money left in your account after your costume is paid for it will be credited to your February Tuition. It is like a built in savings account! RECITAL PARTICIPATION FORMS Parents will be given a RECITAL PARTICIPATION FORM in November to fill out and return to the office by December 18. The form lets us know whether your child will or will not be participating. The staff uses the Holiday break to plan the recital, so it is very important that we know BEFORE BREAK whether or not your child will be participating. MEASUREMENTS DANCE CLASSES: All students taking a dance class will be measured during their regular class Nov. 17 Dec. 18 (we allow 4 weeks, as we try not to measure during watch week. We want to ensure we get all students measured). Measurements are taken for every child whether they are participating in the recital or not. TUMBLING CLASSES: The office staff measures only those tumbling students who are going to participate in the recital. These measurements are NOT taken during class. You must bring your child with you to the office, when turning in your Recital Participation Form. They will be measured for their costume at that time. WHEN: During your child’s regular class time, the week of January 2-8, 2015. HOW: After your child goes into class, parents will be asked to come to Studio 5. 1. You will receive recital information. 2. See a picture of the costume. 3. Place your order. You’ll match your child’s measurements (taken Nov.-Dec.) to a size chart and select a costume size, tights, finish filling out the form and pay for costumes. IF your child is in more than one class, it will be necessary to come back to Studio 5 during each individual class time to receive information and order that costume. PAYMENT: Costumes must be paid IN FULL by January 8th. To avoid waiting in line, we highly recommend paying at the time you place your costume order. If you have more than one class, you are welcome to pay for all costumes with one check, once you know the final total. We will accept checks post dated for January 8th to help avoid lines. Any costume paid or ordered after January 8th will have an additional ordering fee as they will be ordered separately from the group order. Orders after this date CANNOT BE guaranteed delivery by picture week in May due to the costume company’s production and shipment deadlines. DATE RECAP Oct.—Dec. Costume deposits accepted Nov. 17-Dec. 18 Dance Students measured in class and Tumbling students measured in the office when you turn in your Recital Participation Form Dec. 18 Recital Participation Form due Jan. 2-8 Costume Week Jan. 8 Costumes must be paid in full “A SWEET TURKEY OREO TREAT” INSTRUCTIONS: 1.
