Conference Backdrop and Objective
The current business environment has turned the spotlight on the role that a robust internal audit system must play
within the larger drive towards effective governance, risk, compliance and quality management. The internal auditor
is not only expected to report problems, but also do in-depth root cause analysis and give constructive suggestions
about how to improve the performance of the business. In other words, Internal Audit over the last few years, has
evolved from a mere control and risk evaluation function to an agent of strategic change and transformation. This
conference has been designed to provide an innovative and comprehensive overview of the latest developments in
internal audits with key focus on basic internal audit methodology i.e., from “Planning to Reporting”.
