A Thanksgiving Message from the Pastor: I often hear people say they are glad Thanksgiving is not a Holy Day of Obligation. To attend mass on that day by one’s free choice reminds us of the Gospel episode in which the Leper who has cured returns to our Lord to give his thanks. Each year as a country and as the people of God, we have a special day of Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November. As Catholics it is now part of our tradition to gather at the table of the Lord before we unite later in the day with our family and friends for the Thanksgiving meal at the tables of our homes. This year I would like to invite all our parishioners, friends, and visitors to our Thanksgiving Mass on Thursday morning, November 27th at 9:00 a.m. Let us come together once again to say, show, and celebrate our humble thanks to God. ~Fr.
