What a great night we all had at the Moonlight Market, the weather was fine, the breeze in the
evening was freshening and the invasion of the moths gave the food stalls a little more protein for
their products. Tony and his team took care of the drinks, Graeme and his team the BBQ , Graeme
and Djuro also set up the power supply being that the pergola has been removed. Ken Vear and
Adel the front counter and Di and Emiko the cooking with a friend of Emiko, Huong doing a great job
in running the orders, also Saicha (Judi and Geoffs daughter) who helped in serving the customers
at the BBQ counter with Judi, Penny, Katarina and Vicki. Once again the ladies did a great job. All
in all it was a fabulous night. Special thanks to Djuro, Graeme and Vicki for coming early on
Saturday morning to clean up the Kiosk ready for the day, and to David Riggall for bring the trailer to
and from the market.
Thanks also to Judy Cushway keeping us dehydrated and Sue, Adel and ken at kiosk team and the
money man Richard
I know I have done the “not to do” in naming members, however If I have missed any one out, I
apologise and will shout you a drink at the next club meeting!
Last week we had a Committee meeting mainly to discuss the rosters for the Moonlight Market.
Which Adel did so efficiently, with no problem’s.
The JACKPOT ($400.00) was won by Adel, next time your at the bar along side Adel, he may even
shout you a drink. ☺.
This Wednesday is the joint group 7 meeting, we have a good number of club members attending.
For those who can not attend, this gives you an opportunity to do a makeup with another club not in
our group 7.

The numbers are looking good for our 30th Anniversary Dinner. This is going to be a wonderful night
of meeting up with old members and making acquaintances with others. Could be a few surprises
on the night!

Last Friday evening, our effort for the first Moonlight Market of this Rotary Year was excellent. We
have achieved what we agreed to do and performed it in accordance with the agreed planning. The
participating Rotarians, partners, J & G Brown’s daughter, Di & Emiko’s friend Huong and our
friends from the community workshop should all feel very satisfied with their effort. Thank you
Adel.”

Community Shed – Xmas Lunch
Rotary Club of Morialta members - Welcome
We have arranged a Xmas lunch at the Highbury Hotel for 12pm on Friday 5th December for shed
members and their wives and would like to extend an invitation to you and Rotary Club members and wives
who would like to attend.
There is a Xmas three course menu available for $32 per head as well as the normal Menu.
We will have to advise the Hotel of numbers by 20th November could anyone wishing to attend please let me
