0042 An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding. The violation occurred on
Main St but the officer was unable to catch up to the vehicle until SR 741 at the Alex Bell
Plaza. After activating his overhead lights the vehicle fled onto Dahlia Dr. The vehicle
lost control at a turn and crashed into the side of the house at 3401 Dahlia Dr. The
driver fled on foot, but the passenger identified him as Austin Valentine, age 27. A
warrant for felony fleeing and eluding was obtained. 14-3210
0208 Officers and medics responded to 2801 Edgemoor on the report of a drug
overdose. The female was found barely breathing and was removed to a local hospital.

0938 Officers responded to 3720 Pinnacle Rd on the report of domestic violence. They
discovered that Tyrae Bailey, age 33, had struck his children’s mother by kicking her. He
was charged with Domestic Violence. 14-3214

0119 An officer checked the speed of a motorist on SB I-75 at 101mph in a 55mph zone.
He activated his overhead lights as the vehicle exited onto the West Carrollton exit (exit
47). The vehicle fled to SR741 onto Lehigh Pl where the driver abandoned the vehicle.
Eight minutes later an elderly woman in West Carrollton attempted to report the same
vehicle stolen. She admitted that her son, Sterling Tuck, age 21, had taken the vehicle
earlier in the night. He was not located and charges are still pending. 14-3222
0328 An officer on patrol stopped a vehicle for speeding. He found that the driver,
Clyde English, age 43, was driving under two suspensions and had three warrants for his
arrest from other agencies. He was arrested for the warrants and issued several
citations. 14-3223
0841 Officers and medics responded to 5290 Cobblegate Dr on the report of a possible
deceased person. The officers located Shawn Alexander, age 37, dead on the bathroom
floor. The officers found syringes and heroin in the room. 14-3224

0128 An officer attempted to stop a car for speeding on SR741. The vehicle fled onto
Northlawn Ave and finally pulled into the parking lot of the Patriot’s Pub. Charles
Wallace III, age 30, was taken into custody and suspected of being under the influence
of alcohol and drugs. He refused the field tests and later a breath test on post. He was
charged with Felony OVI (4th in 6 years) as well as fleeing and eluding and several other
citations. 14-3227
0424 An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding on W. Dorothy Ln at SR 741.
The vehicle refused to stop and fled at the speed limit onto NB I-75. The vehicle exited
onto Edwin C. Moses and pulled into the driveway at 365 Harriet St (behind UD Arena).
The driver, Jovan Daniels, age 28, was found to be driving under a suspended license.
He was arrested for fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest and obstructing official business

1705 Officers responded to Steak-n-Shake to assist Dayton PD in locating a person who
might have picked up a murder suspect from Kentucky. The individual was located and
turned over to Dayton PD. 14-3232

1550 Officers responded to 2674 Cobble Cir on the report of an unwanted subject. The
officers located Tazaunte Jacobs, age 20, at the apartment and found he was violating a
trespass notice. He was arrested for Criminal Trespass and taken to the county jail. 143239

1603 An officer responded to Kettering Hospital to talk to a victim alleging he was
sexually assaulted on Dryden Rd. The matter is under investigation. 14-3246
1704 An officer responded to 3123 Pinnacle Park Dr on the report of a 15 year old
ruanaway. She was located later in the shift, arrested and transported to JDC. 14-3247

1612 Officer and medics responded to 2448 Lehigh Pl on the report of an unresponsive
male. They found Charles Howard Jr, age 53, heavily intoxicated and unable to care for
himself. He was cited for Public Intoxication and transported to a local hospital. 143254
2100 An officer stopped a vehicle for speed and found an odor of marijuana coming
from the vehicle. The officer cited a passenger for having an open bottle of vodka in the
car. A jar with marijuana was located in the car. The driver, Steven Coleman, age 34,
was cited for speed and possession of marijuana. 14-3255

1226 Officers responded to Walmart on the report of shoplifters fighting with
employees. The officers found that Thomas Conway, age 38, Miranda Myers, age 26,
and Courtney Bowling age 24, had all participated in trying to cart out over $800 in
Walmart property. Myers and Conway fought with employees when stopped. They
were both charged with Robbery and Theft. Bowling was charged with Theft. 14-3263
1355 Officers responded to 4201 Ellery Ave on a mother wanting to report that her son,
Adam Keil, age 20, was there and had a felony probation warrant out for his arrest. Keil
was located in the basement and arrested on the warrant. He admitted that he had
used heroin 20 minutes before the officers came. 14-3264
