1ST READING (EZEKIEL 34: 11 - 12, 15 - 17)
Ezekiel portrays a shepherd God who looks after and cares for the lost,
the strayed, the injured, the sick. As God cares for us, so are we to care
for others.
2ND READING (1 CORINTHIANS 15: 20 - 26, 28)
Now we see God and experience His action through the man who represents Him; then
Christ will have brought us to the Father; we shall enjoy the union with God himself. God
will be all in all, not only in Christians but in the whole realm that Christ restored to him.
GOSPEL (MATTHEW 25: 31 - 46)
Who am I?" This question Jesus put to his disciples long ago remains a question for all
times and all disciples. To be faithful rocks upon which the church is built, we must know
who Jesus is for us, listen to what he teaches us, and guard against anything prevailing
against his church. Peter and Paul's faithful and fruitful discipleship rested on the rock of
their knowing Jesus. Our own faithful and fruitful discipleship rests on this same rock.

PRIMARY 1 CATECHISM SESSIONS 2015
Registration is open for Primary 1 (Level 1) Catechism sessions in 2015. Please bring along your
child’s Baptism certificate for registration at the Catechetical Office #03-03.
*Registration closes on 17th Jan 2015.
2015 CATECHISM SESSIONS
The timings for 2015 Catechism sessions have been finalized and all children have been assigned to a class. Because of large class sizes and unequal class distribution in 2014, we have
planned for equal class numbers for all levels next year. This will help us to minister more effectively to our young people. As such, some of our young people have been re-assigned to different
class timings. Please check the timings on the notice board next to the Adoration Room. We
urge all parents to support us by sticking to the given timings. However, if your child needs to
make a switch, please visit the Parish Office and fill up a form by 31 Dec 2014. We will try our
best to accommodate your request. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Parish of St Vincent de Paul’s Christmas Pageant
A Child is Born
A reason for us to celebrate as the children and
combined choir of our Parish come together, telling
the tale of the birth of our Saviour.
Sunday 14 December 2014, 8pm
Come and join us as a family for this Christmas pageant!
ADVENT BOOKLET 2014 - BEARERS OF THE GOOD NEWS
In preparing for the birth of our Savior this year, we want to reflect what does it mean to
become a disciple of Jesus. What are the dispositions needed to welcome, to nurture,
to persevere and to announce the Good News of Jesus Christ to all peoples.
We look to Mary, the Blessed Virgin, as our model for Christian discipleship.
Remember to pick up your copy of the booklet from the parish (1 book per family).
