We give you more space for your leisure!
Relaxation is what holidays are all about. Therefore we particularly
focus on a comfortable and at the same time generous and functional
room layout in the Columbus.
The living area in the Columbus makes an immediate impression thanks
to the use of luxurious and high-quality materials. You will recognise this
Westfalia quality as soon as you step into your motorhome. But it will also
win you over at second sight. For example, take a look at the cabinet fronts
with white mirror finish. These are both beautiful and their colours create a
bright and friendly overall impression in your motorhome. The decisive factor,
however, is the fact that the applied HPL material is extremely durable and
cleaning is very easy thanks to its sealed surface.
There are no rattling doors, the hinges are firmly seated and the flap mechanism closes tightly, additional advantages you might perhaps not see at first
sight, but they are important to help you relax during your holidays.

appreciate the new kitchen in your Columbus, you’ll love it.
„Functionality married to innovative design“ would be a good title for this
area of the motorhome. The powerful 2-burner hob is linked to a generously sized counter top where you can prepare your food in the blink of an eye.
The sink with its single-lever mixer tap is located under part of the counter top. The numerous easily accessible compartments offer just the right
storage space for your kitchen utensils, from dishes and cutlery to pots and
pans.

ceiling compartments in the kitchen of the
Columbus.

If you choose the Gourmet kitchen you can
also have the refrigerator mounted higher up
to gain space for an additional wardrobe.
From model year 2014 on you will also be able to choose between two
kitchen versions – the slide-out kitchen in the 600 D and 640 D models and
the Gourmet kitchen with separate 95 l refrigerator in the 601 D and 641E.

Sweet dreams!
You can also choose between two different solutions in the sleeping
area of the Columbus. The rear double bed in the 600 D and 601 D
models and the single bed solution in the 640 E and the 641 E.
The 600 D / 601 D floor plan version with a rear transverse double bed
is the perfect solution for travellers who want a high degree of sleeping
comfort while at the same time benefiting from the agility of a six meterlong vehicle The generous bed with its 1.40 by 1.97 metre mattress fills the
entire rear area of the vehicle. The bed can be partly folded up and moved
to the rear to increase the space behind the kitchen.
The two floor plans in the Columbus 640 E / 641 E meet the need for more
room and thus provide more sleeping comfort.
Two big single beds that can be transformed into one massive double bed
by means of an insert offer more space to dream, should you decide to opt
for this floor plan version.
What’s more, the back of the bed can be folded up, just as in the Columbus
600 D / 601 D, creating enough space for at least two bicycles in the large
rear storage compartment. For example, if you remove the front wheels on
your bicycles to reduce the overall height, then you can pack them into the
large garage even with the bed folded down. Safe and comfortable.

Using an insert the two single beds can be converted into a big double bed in no time at all.
The Columbus also wins you over with its
storage space in the sleeping area.
When you remove the front wheel even big
mountainbikes can be neatly and safely
stored under the bed.

A bathroom worthy of the name It is very easy to start your day perfectly in the comfortable new
bathroom in the Columbus.
The comfortable new bathroom reflects the well thought-out room design
of the Columbus. You can easily shower here without any awkward conversion using curtains or sliding doors. Right from the start the dimensions
of the space and room were designed in such a way to perfectly fit a large
shower tub into the bathroom.
With the numerous storage areas and shelves, a towel holder, the highquality wash basin and the one-lever mixer you have almost everything with
you that you would have at home.
No awkward modifications – just take a
shower. The comfortable bathroom in
the Columbus.
By the way: the 90 / 100 litres capacity

Compact outside – complete inside: innovative construction ideas
and a clever room layout guarantee travel comfort at its best! The
core feature of the Columbus is the variable use of the interior
equipment.
Thanks to the fixed mounted rear beds you can have a rest whenever you
like without having to do a thing. And if you need more room once in a
while, you can easily slide away the rear half of the bed by means of an
ingenious sliding construction. The space next to the seat bench can also be
used either for another double bed or for an additional wardrobe. An optional additional wall cupboard is available for the kitchen area.
Whether you stay in the open air or inside, you will find everything you
need in the Columbus – just the way you like it. The choice is yours: you can
go for the Slideout kitchen in the 600 D and 640 E models or the Gourmet
kitchen in the 601 D and 641 E models. In the Slideout kitchen the cooling
unit patented for Westfalia has been fitted into the kitchen block as a pullout box, whereas the Gourmet kitchen features a separate refrigerator and
several spacious drawers in the kitchen structure. It is also possible to place
the separate refrigerator on the counter top in the Gourmet kitchen to gain
a large additional storage compartment.
