Our beloved Danny Bryan joined
his father Don Bryan, mother
Mickie Steffens Bullock Gaines
and brother Clifton Bryan on
Saturday May 3, 2014. He was
born March 8, 1949. He leaves
behind his children Amellia Bryan
and his baby boy Michael Bryan,
wife Debby Bryan and Ray
Gaines. Brothers and sisters:
Freddy (Dawn) Wiley, Kenny
Bryan, Judy (Archie) Williams,
Shannon Gilson, Susan (Joe) Lee,
Robyn Bryan, Mike Stickney and
Angel (Ralph) Schowerer. He had
11 grandchildren. Danny was an
amazing father, brother and friend.
He was loved by many. He
enjoyed fishing, collecting coins,
hunting, Bingo and four wheeling.
His greatest joy in life was
spending time with his kids and
grandchildren. He loved telling
jokes and making people smile. He
had a heart the size of Texas. He
will be deeply missed. A viewing
will be held 10 to 11:30 am
Thursday, May 15 at the Sundburg
Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State
Street in Orem. A "Celebration of
Danny's Life" funeral will be held
1:00 pm (also on Thursday), May
15 at the Eclipse at 600 South 100
West in Provo. A dinner will follow.

1928 ~ 2014
Wilbur J. Wilson, 85, with the
help of cancer, peacefully passed
away at home May 11, 2014,
reluctantly leaving behind his
beloved wife of 65 years, Merilyn
Whitney Wilson.
Wilbur was born Nov. 30, 1928
in Payson, UT to R.L. and Luella
Tippetts Wilson. He was a brother
to Arlea, Arnold, Gene (deceased)
and Keith. At age 15 his family
settled in Springville, UT where he
met his sweetheart Merilyn. They
were married Sept. 10, 1948 in the
Salt Lake City Temple. Together
they raised eight wonderful children: Larry (Debra) Wilson, Mindy
(Norlen)

Michal
(Ron)
Adams, Leslie
(Tom)
Timmerman,
Adams, Leslie (Tom) Timmerman,
Pamela Wilson, Lani (Wayne) Lee,
Tim (Shirley) Wilson and Eric
(Jean) Wilson. At this time they
have a legacy of 31 grandchildren
(2 deceased) and 35 greatgrandchildren.
Wilbur earned a Bachelor's
degree from BYU and a Master’s
degree from USU. From a very
early age he worked alongside his
father and learned many trades.
He was a brick mason, a big-rig
driver, an electrician and a pilot,
flying the family plane back and
forth to many jobs. He was also a
very good auto mechanic, taking
apart and rebuilding his first car at
age 16. He had many other jobs in
his lifetime including technical
electrical writer for Sperry Rand
Co., salesman, welder, landlord
and was a teacher at Cedar High
and Cedar Jr. High for 25 years. It
seemed he was always inventing,
fixing and building things. He also
had many hobbies and interests:
riding motorcycles, back-packing,
hunting, boating, and computers.
He loved designing, building and
flying his own hang gliders for
many years. In addition to all this
he was a beekeeper, a very good
artist and had a beautiful singing
voice.
He was a faithful member of the
LDs church. He served others his
entire life including a 2 year LDS
building mission in Hawaii; building
chapels and working on the
Polynesian Cultural Center. He
was an Eagle Scout and served for
35 years in the scouting program.
He had many church callings and
was Executive secretary for three
bishoprics. He had a deep love for
the gospel, the constitution, his
family and most of all Merilyn.
Funeral services will be held
Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 12:00
pm in the 5th ward LDS chapel,
155 E. 400 S. in Cedar City, UT.
There will be a viewing prior to the
funeral from 10:00 am. To 11:30
am under the direction of Southern
Utah Mortuary.

plea deals during the past
three years. One of the 11
arrested was a juvenile at the

Tingey could face one to
15 years in prison and up to
$10,000 in fines on each
count when he is sentenced
in three weeks.

Brad was an amazing father,
grandfather, husband, family member and friend. Brad was a family
man, He loved being with his
family. He will be truly missed by

He was a avid hunter and
fisherman .Brad was very outgoing
and lived life to the fullest, Always

Terry Lynn (Telford McBride)
Jones passed away peacefully in
her sleep on Mother's Day. We
could not think of a better present
for her on this special day as we
celebrate her return to our Heavenly Father, Robert and Wanda
Telford, her parents; Milt Jones,
her eternal companion, and other
loved ones family. She lived a life
worthy of the presence of the
Father.
Terry’s 6 children were from her
first marriage to Michael McBride.
Her children Mike (Rani), Jon
(Jane), James (Wendy), Robert
(Amy), Daniel (Darlene) and
Suzette love and cherish their
mother. Terry's marriage and
sealing to Milt brought his loved
four children into her life; Jim
(Beverly), Russ (Nadine), Julie
(Steve), and Kristie. She has 30
grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren. She is survived by her six
siblings; Robert, Richard, Paul,
Ted, Michael and Kathryn.
Terry’s church service included
pianist, organist, choir director,
Primary Pres. & teacher, Young
Women's leader, visiting teacher,
and temple worker. She served a
mission with Milt in the Toronto,
Canada temple. She wrote and
directed winning "Road Shows" in
the once small town of Alpine,
Utah. Her civic service included
PTA President and special education teacher in Jr. High for 10
years. In her later years Terry
loved to travel; especially the trips
that included genealogy work.
Most of all, she enjoyed her trips
with all her grandchildren to the
magical world of Disney. Terry
would want her wonderful hospice
nurses at Valeo thanked. She
spent only a few weeks with Jeff,
Martha and Anne, but loved them
so. We thank them along with
Holly and Cory. We also thank the
members of Terry's ward, and
especially Bishop Hunt. Special,
special thanks to Ron and Susan
Wicks for your tireless love and
service to our mother! Thank you
Aunt Kathy, Suzette, Mandi and Dr
Shelly Ebert for all you have done
over the long months and days in
caring for and fulfilling Terry Lynn's

Goodman,
1968-2014, beloved wife, mother,
grandmother, daughter and sister
passed away May 11, 2014.
Susan was born January 21, 1968
in Price, Utah to Mel and Elaine
Staheli. When she was 3 her
family moved to Ukiah, California
and later moved to Springville,
Utah. She graduated from Springville High in 1986 and then
attended Ricks College for 2
years. During her school years she
enjoyed singing in the choir where
she made many close friends.
Susan worked at Nature’s Sunshine, Axiom Financial, and as a
Special Ed technician for the Nebo
School District. She was a dedicated member of the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She served a mission in the
Mexico City Mission. She also
served as Relief Society President,
in the Stake Primary Presidency,
and other various callings. She
loved riding horses and sewing,
but more than anything she loved
being with her family.
Susan married Steve Ashby,
January 11, 1991, in the Jordan
River Temple (later divorced).
They had 4 beautiful children
whom she loved dearly. She later
married Dale Goodman on September 16, 2005, later sealed in
the Mount Timpanogos Temple.
He brought her 3 more children to
love.
She is survived by her husband,

Dennis Mark Bacon, 64, of
Mapleton, Utah died Monday
morning, May 12, 2014 in Provo,
Utah after a short valiant battle
with brain cancer. He was surrounded by his loving wife, children,
and grandchildren. Dennis was
born to Chancy and Donna Mae
Johnson Bacon on September 28,
1949, in Boise, Idaho. He married
his high school sweetheart,
Shannon Genille Lough, in 1968.
They were sealed in the Salt Lake
City, Utah Temple. He was a band
director for 23 years at various
schools throughout Utah at the
elementary through college levels.
In 1995, he shifted his career
focus to educational administration. He was currently serving as
assistant principal at Orem Junior
High School at the time of his
death.
Dennis was a faithful lifelong
member of The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where
he served in various callings in
wards and stakes. He was currently serving on the high council in
the YSA 19th Stake in Provo. He
and Shannon developed a deep
love for family history, researching
and taking names to the temple to
do temple work for their ancestors,
involving the grandchildren in
performing baptisms and confirmations. Dennis was also very
involved in preparing young men
and women in his stake for
missionary service.
He
and
Shannon
always
seemed to make time to be
together doing the things they
loved including golfing, fishing, and
riding their three-wheel motorcycle.
The grandchildren really loved
being with grandpa doing some of
these activities. One golf season,
Dennis and Shannon both got a
hole in one, at the same golf
course, on different holes. Another
of their favorite activities was
driving to Fairview for a cheeseburger and hot fudge sundae. In
the past 15 years, one of his
favorite activities was to find
several different fun convertibles
for Shannon to drive.
Dennis is survived by his loving
