William E (“Willie”) Osborn,
79, of Miami, Oklahoma, died on
February 16, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Commerce,
Oklahoma on November 27, 1934
to Jesse Charles and Nola Ethel
(Keithley) Osborn. Willie graduated from Miami High School after
attending school in Commerce,
Picher, and Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
He then attended and graduated
from the University of MissouriKansas City with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. After inishing college,
Willie married Zella Jane Mabon, his high
school sweetheart, and they began a lifelong partnership committed to their family, faith, profession and the city of Miami.
Willie and Jane relocated to their hometown of Miami, Oklahoma in November of
1958 when he returned to Wiley Rexall Drug.
He established Osborn Drugs, Inc in 1971.
His son, Bill, later joined him in the business and became his partner. Osborn Drugs
now partners with seventeen individuals at
twenty ive pharmacy locations. Over the
years, Willie supported independent pharmacy as a board member and President of
the Oklahoma Pharmacists Association,
the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy,
Pharmacy Providers of Oklahoma and the
American College of Apothecaries. He received recognition from many pharmacy
organizations including the Oklahoma
Pharmacists Association Bowl of Hygeia
Award. Willie was also named the National
Community Pharmacists Association Outstanding Independent Pharmacist of 2010.
Willie passionately supported the community of Miami, downtown Miami, the
Miami Public School System and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. He willingly served as an active member and leader
in many community organizations. The
Miami Area Chamber of Commerce honored
him with the Impact Award and the Miami
Public Schools Enrichment Foundation
recognized him as its Outstanding Alumni.
Osborn served as Chair of the Miami Downtown Redevelopment Authority, co-chair
of Miami’s 75th Anniversary Committee,
and co-chair of Miami’s 100th Anniversary

Committee. Over the years he
enjoyed supporting youth, education, sports, music, drama and art
programs throughout the community. Willie spearheaded the
twenty-ive year efort to restore
the historic Coleman Theatre
Beautiful in downtown Miami.
Willie was a member of the
First United Methodist Church of
Miami for ifty-seven years where
he enjoyed singing in the choir
with Jane. Over the years, Willie
served as the Chair of most church committees including the Board of Trustees, the
Finance Committee, the Family Life Committee and the Building Committee. Willie
also served the Oklahoma Conference of
the United Methodist Church as a member
of the Board of Pensions and Insurance.
Willie was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Charles Osborn; his mother,
Nola Ethel (Keithley) Osborn and his sister, Kathryn (“Kay”) Osborn Carneal. He
is survived by his wife, Zella Jane (Mabon)
Osborn of the home; his sons, Mark Osborn, MD and his wife, Elaine, Clark Osborn, MD and his wife, Sara, Bill Osborn,
PharmD and his wife, Jane, Matt Osborn,
MD and his wife, Lauri, all of Miami, Oklahoma and his daughter, Amy Osborn, JD
of Frisco, Texas. He is also survived by
his grandchildren, Allison, Kabeth, Katie,
Maggie, Kelley, Madeline, Christopher,
Paige, Ben, Hannah, Mollie, Jack and Abby;
as well as great-granddaughter, Kirah.
A memorial service celebrating Osborn’s
life will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Miami, Oklahoma at 2:00
pm on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, immediately followed by interment at the
G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, Oklahoma
under the direction of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Miami,
Oklahoma. A reception and visitation will
be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday,
February 18, 2014, also at the First United
Methodist Church in Miami, Oklahoma.
In lieu of lowers, the family suggests donations to the First United Methodist
Church, in Miami, Oklahoma or any other
charity where it will “do the most good.”

Gail was born in Oklahoma City
and had lived in Broken Arrow,
OK for the past twenty years.
Gail was married to Gary Starnes
for 51 years who preceded her in
the next life in 2012. Gail was a
Realtor in the Tulsa area and was
involved in several local charities.
Gail is survived by two children,
Scott Starnes of Broken Arrow,
OK and Kent Starnes of Gore,
OK. She is also survived by: five grandchil- Broken
dren, Jake, Kelsey, Peyton, Blake, Jessica;

Oscar Roy Hunt, 86, passed
away on Valentine’s Day, February
14, 2014, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Roy
was born to William Roy Hunt
and Eunice (Trent) Hunt on September 10, 1927 in Amarillo, Texas.
He was preceded in death by
his parents; his brother, Dan and
his daughter, Paula McMorris.
Roy is survived by his daughters, Tracie Hunt, Torre Orth,
Pam Heuser; his grand-children, Casandra Waldie, Kendra
Waldie, Courtney Greenwood, Remington Orth, Forrest Hunt, Jeromy McMorris, Maegan Heuser-Baker, Makaela Heuser; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was a long time resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Roy served in United States Navy. He
was with the Tulsa Police Department for

Henry "Sid" Edward Heidler

Born June 29, 1925 to Henry
and Mary Frances Heidler in
York, PA. He went to be with his
Lord on February 15, 2014. Sid
joined the Marines serving in
Tinia in the Mariana Islands for
three years. He moved to Tulsa
in 1952. He and his wife had five
children. Sid raised four of his
children for twelve years being
both Mom and Dad. He worked
as a ticket agent for American
Airlines until retirement, then
used his travel skills with World Travel
Service. In 1972 he married Barbara Oursler Caruthers. He helped raise her two
sons who think of him as more their father
than stepfather. He loved his Lord, family,
landscaping and golf. He was a member of
Asbury United Methodist Church and the
Seekers class. Sid was a member of Oaks
Country Club before joining South Lakes
and LaFortune Men’s Association
where he was very active. He was
a member of the Bogey Boys. He
is survived by his wife, Barbara;
daughters, Stephanie Eddington
and Marisha Brooks; sons, Scott,
Roque, and Marc Heidler, Tate
and Kevin Caruthers; eight grandsons; one granddaughter and four
great-grandsons. In honor of Sid’s
love for golf, the family would like
for you to feel free to wear a golf
shirt. Visitation on Tuesday, February 18 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Moore’s
