TECHNICAL MANAGER
Fixed Term Contract

Foyle Donegal requires a temporary Technical Manager be based at their
Carrigans site in County Donegal, for a period of 8 – 12 months to cover
maternity leave. Reporting to the General Manager the successful
candidate will manage all aspects of the Technical function including rboth
internal and external legislation. The candidate must ensure that the highest
level of Quality, Hygiene and Food Safety is maintained in compliance with
Customer / Company specifications and E.C. Legislation.
Essential Criteria:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar Role.
· Ability to prepare for Customer and external audits.
· Ability to support and assist during audits.
· Working knowledge of H.A.C.C.P. including the Systems and principles of
H.A.C.C.P.
· Ability to conduct trend analysis on Microbiology Results, Customer
Complaints and Organoleptic Analysis.
· Experience of managing a team of people.
· Experience with Total Quality Management Systems.
· Experience of KPI’s and performance management.
Desirable Criteria:
· Familiar with ISO management systems
· Working knowledge of BRC and Bord Bia management systems
